Hello all, sorry to bring up the dead thread. I've been considering an engine swap or what to do with the L20A with dual SU's in my hako, any idea if it's worth getting the L20A optimised with the SU's and what sort of power it can muster, or should I just L28 it or the like?

yeah I might just do that -
"Left of Field" importer Hi everyone, I'm in the process of looking for a R32 GTR V and I'm currently with a broker. There's obviously a lot of competition for vehicles given that all the brokers really have access to the same information. I'm wondering if there's a broker out there who has access to maybe things that don't really come up at auctions, so things like private collection sales or other types of private sales in Japan...or do brokers all look there anyway?

well there's no electric drive and therefore no 4wd add planned so instead of 1500hp it'll be running half that. It's really just a test of whether it can make it to the end. If it completes it without issue then I can see it having a proper tilt at it next year.

Nice the teams think refueling won't spice things up... At least the cars can run quicker for a majority of the race. I think the big teams are scared it'll open the door for an average car to beat them on strategy. Cost wise it's not a big deal so why stop it?

that's not an M Spec though, if that's what you're looking for.

I think Merc will easily romp it. They've got the performance, and as with last year, a few reliability niggles but nothing like engines blowing up Renault style. A piston going through the block is slightly more annoying than a couple of brake and electrical gremlins, and really the only time another team wins, even ferrari, are because there's an issue with the car. It might get better towards the end, but it just looks like Merc simply change the strategy to cover the fezzas and that's it. There's no one else to worry about. Williams race engineers seem to lack any sort of vision or risk taking initiative, which is a shame.

damn I uninstalled FAST. Should probably put it back on. For now, can anyone check BNR32-303018 Cheers

Rosberg is doing worse than The iceman. Unless he improves very soon then this isn't even going to be a race against 2 drivers. Only Vettel is keeping Mercedes honest. Dan has a terrible car, highlighted by his team-mate being nowhere and toro rosso getting up there.

OK decided to sell (might be a bit cryptic to some). Also possible to swap the TE37's for stock rims or XD9s in black and cost adjustment . -

So...I'm writing this slowly because I don't want to but I've been told to sell my baby...my automotive one that is. I bought this car back in 2009 with 77,000km on the odo at that time. It now has under 87,000km after 6 years. In that time all I've done is the regular servicing, put an alarm, window tinting, DVD player and powder coated the wheels black (were white). It is completely stock bar the 18" x 9.5 Volk TE37's. comes with the Jap books. I bought in original condition with the thought to mod and play with it...unfortunately 2 kids later and I haven't done anything. Will be sold with the GTR mats and you can have the old aftermarket radio if you want (It's Jap so the bands don't work here). Those that know me will know that I don't take her out much at all and I am a careful driver (in 20 years of driving I have never had a speeding ticket). I will get around to taking some new photos of her, after I finish sobbing. Price is $48,000 -
If you want a cruise best to wait until one is organised outside of double demerit point weekends

Bring back refueling...they should just give everyone 100kg of fuel and use it however you like. Pit stops are so boring and predictable. It'll also lighten the load and lead to variation in strategy.

Records are kind of useless, there's more races in the season and more points on offer than from long ago. It's like movie box office records, inflation guarantees it'll always be broken eventually.

Kyvat in a red bull... Bad idea.

Dan doing the carbon copy of Webber as usual... Can't launch a car to save himself.
