Yes hence why I said he needed wets, I think 65l per second vs about 30L for inters? Someone will correct me. We don't know how quick he was going, the driver is considered to know the appropriate speed for the conditions. All great in hindsight.

Well he apparently was aquaplaning and just a passenger so not much he could do at a slower speed. At that end of the race though I assume most stayed out on inters to avoid a pit stop when everyone knew wets were needed.

More HP...who cares if they die...but then something happens and they're all about making f1 safer. Can't have it both ways I guess. JEV in the points again... He's probably got twice the points of Kyvat, I stand by my point that he must not be a likeable person.

Haha Massa made a funny. No offence to JEV but he must of pissed someone off to be overlooked twice, unless who heads to a backmarker team his days of f1 look numbered. Vet is no doubt switching because he's well aware that Renault have advised that the power unit for next year is still not going to be up to scratch and competitive. Relish the challenge? Not.

not when your car is 2 sec a lap faster on average...basically if they can get the car to the finish line then it's guaranteed a win unless they made a terrible tactical blunder.

Vettel should have done the team thing Singapore style and taken out Hamilton while he was going for the overtake. Then, Dan would get the win and with both Mercs out it would make the wdc more interesting ?

Well that was all predictable. No real surprises there except Hamilton probably sewed up the wdc pending car failure.

yeah depends what you're after...the R35 will be significantly faster than the R34 especially after supporting mods. The R34 will be a classic like the R32 and the KPGC10, but perhaps not for another 10 years. -
called it 2 races ago, Hamo for the WDC barring death, injury or 'team' sabotage. The only other chance is Rosberg. 3/4 is where it's at, the question is can Ricci beat Vettel at the end? I think Vettel had a bad run so far (Ricci's non-podium mega hurt too) so I think Vettel will come back and take out 3rd in the WDC. Alonso I believe will be fighting with Ricci for 4th.

Not sure if you're talking GTR or not as you say twin turbo r34 but it's probably a gtt rb25. Not that it should make a difference as there are no HP rules in WA that I'm aware of. But from a purely practical perspective it's probably not the greatest P plate car given the high costs to run and your likely inability to afford insurance. Get a pulsar.

while we're on the subject of 2014 is anyone thinking ricci is going to have any chance against vettel? I mean his pace isn't that great and consistency at times is wanting...I'm concerned he'll be another webber...lots of hope but not so much luck, and we all know to win a WDC you need a little bit of wanker in you and that winner takes all attitude at times.

Not sure pitting kimi was necessary, the lotus is good on the tyres and Vettel needed to make up about a second a lap in traffic to the finish.

Bring back refueling so we get proper sprints to the finish.

Given Webber walked away from the top seat in F1 right now (you can bet any driver would want a RB seat) I doubt he'd want to get into a lower car. Something tells me money isn't really an issue anymore and now he's looking at cruising rather than stressing for wins.
