  1. it's better than spending 5 years at uni paying them to learn bugger all...
  2. work on your assignments, quit trolling. if you are selling your car, I suggest you take any offer that has come it is the best you'll get.
  3. sorry did I say 16...I mean 18 he's gonna smack up his race engineer me thinks.
  4. webber is out of qualifying in 16th
  5. meanwhile, the 20s penalty means Hamilton drops a spot and Alonso stays the same? The logic doesn't make sense as there's no real penalty to Alonso...regardless of whether they deserved it.
  6. Thought xbox had NVIDIA tech...Google will find it for you Wii has old ATI tech I know that
  7. I've seen a TVR T350C and I think a cerbera around Perth so it's a possibility...although without the tacky bullet hole stickers
  8. Crate engines are great...if they're going into a shell built for them which usually is a domestic/american car.
  9. I know someone with an old NSX but not the facelifted last model, and you can shoot my R34 if you want
  10. Looks like a bit of fixing is going to be needed. 100mm from the lowest point, doesn't matter where. If you have a modified exhaust it usually means the exhaust, otherwise it may be your front bar.
  11. bugger I'd want this but I just know I wouldn't drive it for fear of other retards on the roads...and I already got a garage car in the GTR definitely a 6 I would buy.
  12. true the whole point of a GTR is its potential, given it's age now a stock STI or Evo will at least keep up and probably surpass any stock R34 variant on the track. Put some mods in though and especially when you're wanting 400hp+ then the GTR does it far easier. The different variants are worth it in my opinion. Even something as small as a standard GTR vs Vspec why bother saving $5k with a standard GTR when the vspec has better aero, LSD, attessa and engine sensors.
  13. with flashblock I didn't see an ad either...wow an ad I actually would click on!
  14. time to clean the car to take some pics then!
  15. Old rego or vin details might help. Otherwise heal your pain with a 34gtr
  16. That good is it? I liked the first tdu on xbox360 it would be a shame if it was now crud
  17. aww looks good would have been interested...probably with 2 cars
  18. yep in WA I've seen people go to jail for getting someone to cover a speeding fine...perverting the course of justice is treated very seriously and I had a clean skin get 18 months jail for getting someone else to say they were driving after a small bingle in a parking lot because she didn't have a valid licence. For those that don't know both the people involved can be charged with such an offence. Don't get me wrong, I've seen it done many times with clients doing it but I always warn them that if they get caught they risk jail, so you'd better hope it's worth it.
  19. Bob's doing the 24h Le Mans right now Pit strategy is pretty useless for such a race I just leave it on default. yeah I remember the big lag you get with the 1100hp GTR's but that's the fun part, trying to catch it when the boost comes on tap don't need traction control But even an R35 can't push that much out, and this is for the track. There's bolt on kits for every day driving that pull more than the 850 flywheel hp that's the max of the R35 tuning in GT5. I think it's more the case that they don't want someone with a 150k car beating the pants off the high end cars.
  20. ah well pretty useless for us in WA it's similar to when ACA/TT run those stupid "I beat <police apparatus>" and then all of a sudden there's all these enquiries about omg so and so got off on a speeding fine, reckless charge, etc. main issue is procedures and importantly the equipment used in each state differs to the point that a case that occurs in one jurisdiction is inadmissible in another. rather than post up what you can do, how about post HOW you do it. Teach a man to fish me says...
  21. anyway, I assume if burnouts are the start then does that mean it'll eventually become perhaps a drift/track car? i.e. useful for something else? because when I was at the drags last week the burnout comp was between a VN commo wagon and an ED falcon...both stocko V6's worth maybe $500 each and they did a great job entertaining the crowd and popping tyres. So really, I'd ditch the heavy manly $40k motor and get something light and fun because if you want to do anything other than burnouts it'll handle like a boat with a big fat front end...and basically anything with a peewee amount of power and an LSD can do a good enough burnout....AND...if you're just starting to do burnouts then why blow a crap load of money on something which may very well be harder to control and cause more pain when you hit the wall? p.s. also looked you up on fb, but you're not a fan of mariah carey so I cannot add you
  22. haha nice bucket you got there...ah least it's a car you'll learn stuff off that isn't as boring as your stock corolla or excel. you never know, it might be respectable after you finish the schooling.
  23. were you at the drags last night? I think i saw your car there with the SSR rims? If so, it did sound a little lumpy too but I also wondered how it wasn't really pulling very fast. Mind you the R35 that was there could only manage around 12 flat anyway so I thought it must have been a slow night. +1 on the tune then, spend $1k or so on a tune once you get the parts sorted and it'll be worth it...no sense in running it when it's not at optimal settings you could cause damage.
  24. OK now at about level 31/32 for a and b spec...was a real pain in b spec winning the extreme series historic racers challenge whatever that is. Toyota 7 ftw. Damn that 2J when it starts on the front row I thought I had no chance I shoulda bought the Nissan R92C when I had the chance, but I'm happy with my R89C. seems easier to control than the Minolta. does anyone have a gripe with the tuning? I mean an R34 vs2 n1 can only muster about 800hp fully tuned? and let's not forget that the figures given are at the flywheel not atw. They've munted the tuning on a lot of cars but I notice it on the skylines relative to old GT's. the old GT's could pull 1100hp or more sometimes out of a skyline, has anyone managed over 1000hp with any GTR?
  25. maybe they change the rules to allow 100mm change with 4wd so the GTR will be safe
