Mate i'm in the same boat as you... i've tried bloody everything and spent so much fkn money and they squeak / squeel worse than ever. It's soo excrutiating!! I've tried 2 dif ABS places and both say the same "only so much you can do with skylines".. and both end up with same result. I've got new pads, new rotors and back plate thingy that ur suppose 2 try for skylines and its no use... still squeak.. i hate it!

Hey all, Just wanted to give a big shout out to Michael and all the crew at Knox Automatics in Rowville, Vic. Just got my shift kit put in and damn its the best!!! So yeh i highly recommend these guys, they install the keas system and service the transmission for roughly $400 and its a top job. Gear changes are very smooth still considering the perfomance difference, its like bang bang bang instantanious shifts... im in love! Cheers bois! - JT.

Hey all, just to clarify this matter for use all... I happend 2 get pulled over not even an hour ago in my R33 by a TMU officer, M. MOOHAN a senior constable from Fawkner. Anyways... he said 2 me that out of the factory my car is illegal due to power to weight ratios... $112 fine and not allowed to drive until fully licenced. Stock out of factory i said?.. hmm.. doesn't my car weigh 1500kgs and have 187kw... do the math and that = 124kw per tonne!.. UNDER THE 125kw limit. Yet my rego specifies that it only weighs 1400.. hmm. dunno wtf is with that? Out of factory you might say.. which means no petrol no water no oil and overall less weight etc etc.. but i'll be damned if u can drive any car out of the factory without petrol, oil and water. So I am absoloutely pisst off as to why my car is weighed in by Vic Roads at 1400 and to why i got that fine and can't drive my car until August (when im fully licenced). On top of all this i asked him why and his like don't give me the figures i don't know, all i know is that by the "book / law the rb25det is illegal to drive on your P's, you can put slabs of concrete in the back of your car its not going to make any difference." And i also quote "i'm lucky that their not allowed to give out demerit points for this fine as yet as it's not in the book" or something along those lines.. but yeh.. just for all you peoples info.. im soo depressed right now.. honeslty.. people out there killing each other.. we have no water here in melbourne households yet factories use a million litres a day.. and cops are worried about a bit of power over weight ratio.. omfg wat has this world come to... moses and jesus would be rolling in their graves! hey people after sum help if available... i cant seem to lock my driver door (r33) via key or alarm ... i had purchased one of those viper alarms systems that were floating round a while back and have never had a problem.. and not sure if its the viper that has done it ... or just the install job was dodgy maybe and over a matter of time sumthing has gone loose or fallen out (in the door) ... had it installed at autobarn .. n yeh. any suggestions? cheers - JT [ alarm still goes off if door is opened obviously, but door wont lock! ]

Hey people, don't know if anyone can help me as i can't be 2 specific with the problem but ever since the other night after doing a lil rubber burning in the car park, my car seems 2 be making a real funny noise while accelarting, like the air under the bonnet is going through sumtinh or hitting sumthing, sounds like a jet wen it passes over, and my steering feels like it is rubbing against sumthing especially when turning left and makes a sort of vibration sound.... no idea wat da f**k i have done... its not as if i havent done worse bangers in my car b4.. but clearly never again!!! it was a meer 30 seconds crop circle in the right direction.... could i have fkt steering column or sumthing? cos i didnt hit anything but it just sounds n feels weird as now... any help would be well appreciatied!!! thanx all

hey all again... havent posted 4 a while been busy but 2 keep use up 2 date here is the latest news.... after taking car back to performance shop and telling them how abs wanted to charge me $940 so on and so on EAS (the performance shop which i take my car 2 do all mods etc etc and first claimed i needed new pads) said they would put new brakes in all round for $580... similar ones 2 those of abs... that was done and yeh brakes still squeaked.... after this just couple dais ago i take car back again blah blah blah they said it must be the shitty pads abs gave them.. so they put new "better" pads on.... my god! the squeak was louder than ever.... brakes had 2 be blowing red hot b4 the noise would go away.... todai i get car back again... they sai he lubbed em up again... embedded them in the best he could etc etc... took it 4 bit of a drive.. not 2 hard as it is quite wet out there 2dai n yeh no sound until i fkn break slowly as 4 a red light.. and theres that fkn squeak again... pulling up in2 my garage SQUEAK... WTF is wrong with my brakes ARGHHHHHHH!!!! gota get new tyres ... so got hookt up with tyre power.. told him bout da brakes blah blah... they guna look at it 2morow n get back 2 me.. apparently just need a better groove line or sumthing... anways... dats my stori sorri 4 long post!!! btw.. getting Pirelli P7's.... 225/50/r16 ... suppose 2 be even better than the TOYO T1-Rs ... (big call so see how we go!)

dude im having the EXACT same problem .. its f*kt!!! i just got all 4 pads replaced and now my car squeaking like a cuunt wen i brake!!!! and abs wanna charge me $940 2 get it fixt... GEETTT FKT!!!! ...bbut yeh... cheaper solutions ive been told are 2 get the rotors machined... and yeh replace calipers as my front ones have seized! - jt

hey people, had a real fkn bad annoying hissing sound coming from my wheels past couple months, found out bake pads were worn so got em replaced on all 4 wheels.. now that i got the car back almost every time i brake it makes a really loud squeak... which u can imagine 2 be soo fkn annoying.. any idea if this is the mechanics doing as they might have fkt up something when replacing the pads??? ... so ive takin it to ABS and they said its guna cost me $940 to fix claiming that the rear brakes are alright but the fronts neeed maching, calipers etc etc... anyways any help would be greatly appreciated cheers (Y)

yeh the 1st couple dais i got myn done (3" turbo back - gutted hi-flow cat 6"barrell 4" cannon) im luck fk this is 2 damn loud.. 4 sure cop trouble 4 sure parents crack shits.. n yeh i was pisst cos couldnt hear music all 2 well....now ..I CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT!!! ... wats better than putting ur foot down the car fkn flying n sounding like a nascar.. i love it the bois love it n f**k does it turn heads.. presence felt throughout the area... realli man just matter of getting used 2 and learning how 2 control the note with ur pedal !!!
