  1. i must wanted to let everyone know that the 3&4 gear shift fork from the TT z32 and RB25DET gearbox are abosolutley identical ! i have some picts, but i cannot post them up here cause this feature doesnt work with me...
  2. hi, i just wanted to ask whether this information will be enough to purchase a part from Nissan for my nissan with a r33 RB25DET cause a gearbox part broke and i need to order it? thanks
  3. i'm running the non dampered version ... advantages: ZERO clutch slip and grips great can handle ALOT of power disadvantage: permanent muscle cramps in the left leg from pressing the pedal engine stalls once in a while in heavy traffic when starting to move (needs >3000rpm to get rolling) when shifting fast during races, every gear crunches I would highly suggest this clutch to anyone, but personally i prefer the dampered discs because i drive my high powered RB on a regular basis...
  4. ok thanks... will do that... maybe anyone know an online source?
  5. its the part that is used to slide between 3rd & 4th gear... any ideas where i can get it asap cause i need to get my car out of the workshop... thanks...
  6. hi, anyone know where to get a stock base map for the RB25DET with the correction maps included from? or even better a map tuned for 550cc, T4 turbo and 3Bar MAP so that I dont have to do too much fidling around... thanks, Nico
  7. any news on the shipping? been a while since i made payment... Nico
  8. this definatley a NO
  9. isnt the stock exh. manifold a very big power restrictor? i'm running 450hp+ RB25DET and i guess that this is limiting the power and also the turbo response... .
  10. thanks to all the people who PM'ed me about the PFC PRO... unfortunatley i have to say, that the unit had been sold within 10min after i posted it... it got sold to england, and i have received payment over paypal already... thanks for the great interest...
  11. Hi, I have decided to change to another standalone ECU unit, so I will be selling my Power FC Pro for the RB25DET... I guess most of you know that it has been discountiued by Apexi, and these unit are very rare... the PFC PRO offers IGN cut instead of fuel cut in the normal PFC units when hitting the red line, and also offers a very nice feature called launch control - very good for the drag strip for example... I have had it for around 2 years now and was very happy with the results... The other standalone unit will cost me 1100 AUD, so this is what i want for my PFC PRO... the hand controller IS included in that price ... there is no password lock on the item, so you just need to plug it into your car, and off you go... why go for a standard unit, if you have this rare opportunity to get your hands on the PRO unit for some slighlty more bucks... i always say; its better to buy quality once, than having to buy something twice I can post pictures if you want... thanks, Nico
  12. are you sure that this is the case? i looked closley at my bosch 044 and didnt see any filter on the inside... i also read on the web that people who install this pump externally, use a regular fuel filter between the tank and the pump, because some dirt particles in the tank can destroy your pump and this can lead to blowing the engine (under load)... where did you get the info that they have a built-in filter? thanks!
  13. i have a PFC PRO that i consider selling (for rb25det r33) ... pm me if interested... ps: launch control is indeed a funny gimik to have
  14. well i got a custom build one for my rb25 swap into s13... the stock radiator fits ~1.9l where as the new one does close to 5l ... what could be the problem is that i have a big FMIC and the aircon cooler infront of the water cooler... they take away alot of air, which the fans have to make up for... @security:
  15. thanks for the good explaination... just one last question; where is this bolt ?? thanks
  16. so now that i have water in the radiator, i just have to start the engine and open this cap in the middle of the radiator? how long should the engine run with this thing open in order for the system to fully bleed? thanks mate
  17. just a quick question... i also have overheating issues with my Rb25det... removed the thermostat completely (since i dont drive my car in winter), 5l capacity water cooler, huge eletric fan with thermoswitch etc... still overheating... i dont know whether i have bled the system fully... any ideas on how to bleed the system fully on an rb25? thanks.
  18. Hi guys, i am about to buy myself a twin plate from HKS which is made for the RB26dett, and wanted to ask whether it'll fit on my RB25 aswell?? thanks!
  19. i am running ca18 coils with s1 amplifier from RB25 and am pushing around 400hp without probs... hope this helps...
  20. i also thought about doing this, but then the squirters would hit the crank... would be great if the exact copper washers would get supplied with the pistons... Nico
  21. i honestly couldnt care less whether you will let me near one of your engines... be aware of side effects of using such products?? for example that pistons made for my engine breaking off factory oil squirters?? also, i could care less for such unnesseccary comments like yours, since i was trying to prevent people from building them it and breaking of all oil squirters... and not to discuss whether mister superman will let me near of his precious engines... Nico ps: there is absolutley nothing wrong with driving a fresh engine hard from the start... i drove ~100km normal, and then build my way up to the serious HP... all down to ~500km...
  22. i am aware of the clearance fact and that this is why the pistons can knock while cold... the stupid thing is that I didnt even get one of those data sheets with the pistons which states the clearance etc... we recently put together a SR20det in our workshop with Arias pistons which require 0.1 clearance which is alot... on my engine i have stock bore, and the clearance after honing was max 0.03 at the last cylinder... the others had 0.01 - 0.02... i also said to get wisecos because i have seem them fit on the little brother from the RB25 (the CA) and I had no issues with clearning or high knock... i just bolted them in, and worked perfectly... CA18 also has identical oil squirters as the RB25... a question... could somebody tell me how i can tune my engine now, because i am hitting amazingly high knock readings (255 and up) with these pistons?
  23. really good efford... 1o out of 1o for for that... buts its too wide for my taste personally...
