thanks abo...... i fixed it today, it was hitting on the bracket bolted to the floor pan to stop the tailshaft hitting the ground in the event of failure, so i took the bracket off and elongated the holes and bolted it back up so it sits slightly higher now..... no noises at all anymore yay!!!

checked all exhaust mounts... all are fine

mmmm didnt really intend on this being a flame thread for just jap products!!!!

i never said that there was anything wrong with the just jap dump just simpily that it sits higher than the standard dump therefore raised the rest of the exhaust and now i need ideas on how to stop the exhaust hitting the floor.... im accually really happy with the improvement in the car since fitting it, car feels so much smoother now through the rev range and i would still reccoment it to anyone.

ok but the fact still remains it still knocks so should i try and bend the pipe down a bit or something?

yeah im impatient!!! yes i am mis matching exhausts but i dont see how that would cause any problem

im pretty sure that the new front pipe has lifted the rest of the exhaust

30 mins i find that hard to beleive....... anyways i got under the car this arvo and its not hitting up the front it is further down near the tailshaft centre bearing, its hitting the bracket that sits on top of the exhaust and under the tailshaft centre bearing. maybe pics would explain better. Any ideas on a fix????

no its the front pipe just before where it bolts to the cat

I fitted the just jap split front/dump pipe to my 33 this arvo and found that the front pipe is hitting the floor pan when i go over any bumps, anyone else encountered this problem and what was their fix??? thanks guys
