Evolution R will have most of the reciepts (maybe) but the rebuild was 12k and total of other stuff was 47k(when japanese parts were ridiculously priced). but these have changed, eg it used to have wise sports 19 inch wheels but now has 5zigens and thats the third exhaust (went from twin to single and back to twin). had sparco bucket seats before and r33 gtr brembos (sold em cos needed spacers). do luck suspension braces (taken off). CDT audio speakers(replaced) and has had four interior retrims(trimcare) etc so u may not see where all the money has been spent Mao at evolution r will confirm all this if he can be bothered to do so (u will have to pester him)

fitted the TD-06 beginning of the year after selling the gt350 turbo it had before(check my trade record) Td-06 was rebuilt by grant with better internals (low mount for sleeper effect) Tial wastegate was chosen cos trust gates too big and i hate the name turbosmart (no offense) has been well kept and most workshops will know it if you drove there. Glen(hyperdrive) was the tuner (when i fiddled with the settings it was one of the first WA cars with forgies (GTRKEN calls it the $3000 piston car lol)and has had forged internals all its life. car came in 1999 with 8000ks and sat between a maserati and lexus as a weekend toy/autosalon showcar .- its a late 1997 build so this is not fake. friend left and sold to another bloke who also left country. car was sitting in backyard when I heard it was for sale from evolution R Evolution R did all the checks and bargaining and we had it from 40,000km+ changed a LOT of stuff on it that i didnt like( u will notice the number of stereo installs it has had e.t.c). removed a little stuff before selling kept in contact with new owner for further assistance but havent heard from him lately (sup danny) Only major drama was clutch problems=plates that need replacing cos we rode the clutch/drag combat (fabian) spigot bush/warping plates etc (replaced by imports 101 twice) has a brand new clutch according to workshop i visited that worked on it recently(supertec) most major skyline dramas like power steering pump rebuilds have been done(perth gearbox & clutch) umm the list of stuff is pretty accurate except for a few gliches like the blowoff is a apexi twin chamber and the intercooler is the oldskool big end tank trust cooler (unless changed after sale) everything else is there for sure (u can hear the tomei pump buzzing........LOL) ITS ONE MEAN CAR. (no ABS) hope that helps.

well if its a pro u should be fine, remember to put the weight of the car, rimsize (if bigger) and other parameters before believing any of those figures. otherwise u will get a 500hp stock skyline that can do 80km/h & 60km/h at the same time and make sure the g sensor isnt mounted crooked at all if u got one
-
see u man
-
try playing with the idle screw thing
-
yeah you get full engine but you got to buy injectors/ecu/adj fpr/fuel pump after that easiest way to do this is to sell your car and import another gtr with the engine installed
-
let me put it this way, if you do youre own calculations on how many kgs have been lost on the mines r34 it doesnt add up. some weight saving has been done to the engine internals as well, for sure it has titanium rods etc and those diffs/gbox have different ratios as stated b4
-
yeah i know but i guess im thinking who would want/build a 800hp gtst that revs to 9000 rpm. but if its for dreamings sake then i guess ill shut it PS: ossie 21, my friends got a 475hp daily driver gtst and I reckon anything above 400hp is overkill, 350 is just right . the 475hp cars fuel gauge moves like a quartz watch.

its a good turbo but its old school/plain bearing and engine temps will be pretty high (no water lines only oil lines) and needs external gate to work well but im sure its a direct bolt on on rb20. it stinks too (if u got external gate)
-
it feels more responsive than the 2530 on normal driving but it depends on what gear youre on, normally had to drop it into second when a 2530 fitted car would only need third to boost up eg when the traffic lights go amber at 60km/h and we cbf stopping
-
used to get boost earlier than that but yeah a bit laggy but when it comes on..................whoa!
-
run for your life............. heheh just look for another turbo kit, had trouble with the internal gate, it just doesnt work, you will have to custom fit an external gate and blah blah, basically spend $$$$ to achieve anything. cost me 3k to get it working properly get a 2535 or go garret unless u like the noisy wastegates
-
hyperdrive can source it 4 u & hioctane are australias tomei distributor, but after taxes u will be crying, just make friends with someone on hkskyline forum or fly to asia and stick one between your clothes
-
no probs nice engine bay, used to see that car alot at caltex wellington st, wanted to whitemark my tyres after that
-
cooling channels are for the pistons not crank all tomei stroker cranks are 8counter, cannot get full counterweight as it will cost too much as a kit oh and is as pointless as trying to fit twin turbos on rb25, 12k rebuild for 300cc lol, dont get offended just being realistic.
-
its a single solenoid as well(like avc-r), so if u planning for big turbos with external gates better get a dual solenoid EBC.
-
bit unfair for those who have spent mortgages on modifying like the wine red one i see in this thread. if i was only willing to pay 15k and saw that for sale i wouldnt call him (out of respect), cos thats atleast worth 30k or whatever the owner is willing to let it go for. on the other hand, the market value of a r33 gts-t(series 1) dealer trade is $8000,even if you try convincing them u got titanium conrods. rip off as usual but the only way you can sell your car in a day. anyway theres another thread talking about GTR33s selling for 27,000 so i guess the gts owners are phucked!!! just write off the car and collect insurance or strip and sell for parts. will get u more than 14k. just takes too long
-
hey man how u been, saw the damage at mao's lol u must have been pissed. try these guys out http://www.japparts.com.au/Parts+Panel/Suspension.html
-
ill swap u an apexi dual n1 , but its pretty loud , not my thing anymore plus my screamer pipe causes enuff mele. got a silencor?
-
DID U HAVE WHEEL SPACERS?
-
kinda cool cos it comes with a full service history, and u can talk 2 the owner if u know japanese, way better than auction cars. almost all workshops ive checked got gtr,s for sale.some r a bit extreme tho. the veilside gtrs are 4 sale BTW. and to get back to the thread, the vic park gtr is a good car if it suits your taste(colour/wheels mods etc), u shouldnt really listen to what I have to say here about the price, mods etc, walk in there with whatever you think its worth (80+) and im sure you will be driving it home. remember they are running a business, if you want a cheap one you will have to source it yourself
-
if u look around (esp in workshops) u can find cheap ones. this ones gone http://www.midoriseibi.co.jp/hanbai/003/index.html thats only 40 grand.dont know a figure on it landed but im sure it would be less than 99k.

and you were laughing at my previous post, ill enjoy hearing what you have to say. u enjoy it because it is complex. rule of thumb is something complex is worse when theres simpler examples. next thing u will be telling me u still running ms-dos or sumthing cos its more challenging. fact that u mention it takes lots of time to tune it is the same reason tuners dont like it. and yes ive seen a well tuned evo 8 in singapore with a gear judge tuned avc-r (garage R) and even the owner reckoned it wasnt worth it. just needed to match with the interior so it was a cosmetic factor BTW i got avc-r and its shite & i know where your coming from with its features. but its meant to control boost-period, not takeover iraq
-
any blitz product will work best tuners dont like the avc-r and yes its easiest 2 fit into skyline avc-r is siingle soleniod compared to the rest that are dual, probably why it wont hold boost on some appplications greddy use fuzzy logic which has its disadvantages. google it and find out cbf typing more
