  4. Hi guys i am selling my baby, even though i don't want to as i have put so much money into this car. This car is heavily modified and it has all been recently done so i am trying to get some money back and not loss to much. Full rebuild and balance engine with aries forgies cost about $5000 with all the parts GT30 ball bearing rated 500hp ( 1 year old ) 45mm exterenal wastegate gtr injectors Brand new bosch 040 pump boost controoler Wolf 3D vers. 4 plus hand controller adj. fuel reg new exceddy H/D clutch Full 3" turbo back short shifter lots of detail to engine eg. (braded lines, nismo radiator cap and oil cap) HKS intercooler 3" custom piping brand new battery 520 cranking amps crome catch can K&N pod with custom pipe Veilside Kit 18" 5 spoke wheels (white) stereo is worth about $2500 (opional queit happy to keep that) Car was tuned by Peter at Rank Rotary so can give you his number any queries, car was tuned and set at 15psi for 206rwkw have dyno sheets. Car is service by my local mach. Darren happy to give his and also can forward number from bondi engines who rebuilt engine for me I think that is about it guys i am sure i have left out some thing there is so much that i have done to this thing, like i said i don't want to sell it but the misses thinks it time for me to grow up a bit and get more suitable car.   5. yer everything seems fine just seems weird that it started happening straight away after putting the pod out side i am reading the boost from the hand controller and a boost cage they both read the same
  6. The boost controller should be ok as i am going off the reading that my wolf3D hand controller is telling me. i might put the filter back under the bonnet and run the pipe to the pod inside the car see what happens then i guess
  7. Hi guys just a quicky. My car was tuned the other week all set up and running fine on 16psi, with this tune i had a K&N filter inside the engine bay, now the other night i thought i would extend the piping and put the pod outside down near the front spoiler. So i would get better air flow to the turbo, it seems to have work as i have not really lost any power but now it is now showing that i am only running about 12psi is this because i have moved the air filter. If so what should i do just turn the boost back up or should i take it to the guy that tuned the car get him to turn it up and check it i am running wolf3D and have all the bolt on bits thanks any help would be great it just seems a little weird to me to lose 4psi
  8. I think there should be some kind of dickhead test to see if you should have a licence. I don't know how some of the idiots on the road get there licence there is places to do burn outs and that sort of stuff and it isn't in a built up area. It doesn't bother me if people go out to back streets were they cant hurt or hit anything, i had one guy try and drift in front of me as he was trying to show his car off to me as he had a 33 and mine being a 32, i think he was trying to prove that his car was better! Well it isn't better now went straight across in front of me into a pole as i drive past with a smile and say to my mate next to me what a wanker. I guess you had to be there to find it funny but
  9. I was in the same boat my RB20 went i me and i was stuck with the same problem weither to build it back up again or buy a RB25. In the end i just rebuilt as i was happy with the power i was getting before the problems with it, so i got some aries forgies and got my machanic to rebuild her for me and i couldn't be happier, i am same as roy just like crusin around town and if i want to have fun i have to take it up to about 4200rpm. But remember i have a new recondition engine that should be good for say 150,000km (lets hope) were if you buy a secondhand motor in 6 months down the track after warrenty runs out you might be in the same boat again and have 2 engines that are no good, that was my worry

  11. 14psi on a standard R32 i properly wouldn't run the boost that high turbo won't like that much. All depends on what sort of power you are hoping to get out of your car and how deep your pockets are really. I have just finshed building my up i got 210rwkw which i am quiet happy with but it cost a bit as i had to rebuilt my engine as it was shagged. And then it is a matter of bolting all the go fast bits on getting yourself a after market ECU and a good tuner (Don't take short cuts with the tuning most important thing) If you want to know my mods sent as a PM if not good luck with the hunt for power

  13. me again i talked to the guy that biult my engine it seems that my comp. was 8/3/1 not sure if this is good or not i think standard it 8/5/1 not sure is it better to have lower comp.

  17. Hi guys, i have just got my car back and i have just had my little Rb20 rebuilt. I have basical done a standard rebuild top and bottom but have thrown in some 40thou over aries forgies to be on the safe side, as i got them at a good price. I was wondering after i have finished running my engine in what sort of boost would be ok to run at and the power that i should get from it. These are my support mods: HKS FMIC, bosch 040, adjustable fuel reg, bigger injectors i think about 440cc not sure on that, wolf 3D, POD, 45 external gate, 3" exhaust turbo back, all 3" piping from FMIC if that matters and a GT30 ballbearing rated at 550bhp+ so the guy told me that gave it to me. Yer so if anyone has any ideas what sort of boost levels would be ok that would be great thanks
  18. i would properly go and buy a power FC of a wolf 3D some sort of after market computer that will help a bit
  19. what type of RPM and boost can the standard rods handle as i am just getting mine resized to go with the forgies that i bought

  21. see how much the guy is going to charge you for standard pistons as i did and i found a guy that sells aries forged pistons so it isn't like they are no good and they were a pretty good price. I am right in the middle of a rebuild myself i am hoping to reach 250rwkw not sure of bhp and there were a alot of people that were not going to rebuild it with out them in the end it only cost me about $400 more to get the forged piston and ring so it was a pretty good investment in my mind up to you really. If you want send me a PM and i will give you his number he is in melbourne but he does ship out of state i think
  22. i don't have a scanner sorry so i cant post up the graph, and for the spec's i don't know them either sorry because the guy that gave it to me didn't tell me what they were and it didn't really bother me that much cause he showed me the receipt him buying it 2 months before giving it to me. you are right there is a difference between 2nd and 4th and the fact that i don't really come on boost in 4th as i only drive this on the road so unless i take it out to say 140 - 150 in 4th it want really hit boost so i cant really say what boost it gets to in 4th. when i get my engine rebuilt and run it up again i will see if i can get my little sister to put it on for me a school for you
  23. thats when i am driving around on street every day driving i think the reason why i wasn't heaps of power was because of my engine was not in good shape it apears as it is getting a complete rebuild, another reason was because i didn't have a after market fuel pump. I have now bought a bosch 040 pump and once i have got my car back and run the engine in i am hoping to see a good improvement hopfully i do have a graph but no scanner
