rofl! Small world isnt it. Are you Duncan H? I think we're on the same floor West building, but you're at the opposite end. I'm near the tea room I'm helping out with PC/LAN at the moment for a month then I'm back with Server admins in three weeks. I'll say hi if i manage to work out who you are lol

LOL you would have liked our first attempt at the front then. Had no idea where to adjust it to so we tried the middle. Turns out the front bar was 3cm off the ground and the front wheel was tucked under by about a cm. I need it to be practical my driveway is shit and I'm sick of repairing the front bar hehe

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience in installing some coilovers today. I did it with the help of a mate who installed a set of Teins on his pulsar recently. Big thanks to ya Peter Coilovers are used Kei Office TE. I've always been a fan of Tsuchiya and his coilovers a top notch, made in his own factory in japan and heavily R&D'd. TE model means base model with no damper adjustment, made to be very similar to stock suspension with height adjustment. My car came with worn out Nismo damper adjustable shocks and springs. It had a rattle in the left rear, cant say how good it feels to get rid of the rattle. It also "whispered" where I would hear the dampers working over bumps, it sounds like ppl whispering in the back seat, it was hell annoying The coilovers also made it a really good ride, when I braked hard on the worn Nimso's the car would pitch forward and then back, these don't, and it gives a nice firm ride with very nice dampening. Anyway heres some pics from today Before: During: After: Very happy with the results Just want to say thanks to wtf-33R for the wheels and 33KLR for the coilovers What do you think? Cheers!

Police told me I didnt need a report too when some idiot hit me for a minor acco. Report it anyway over the phone and insist on a police report number. Call police assistance line 131444. Insurance will sort it out but just in case the guy tries to avoid you at least its all reported

I like those dished lensos ^^ I picked up a used set of starcorp impuls from a fellow forum member, I've always liked how they fit on a skyline. Not sure how wide they are but its 265 on the back wheels. I woulndt mind a set of genuine Volk GT-C's but I can't justify spending that much on a gtst for wheels especially when I dont go on the track. But a GT-R you wouldn't want anything less

Pulsing Noise In Dash When Starting My R33
sl33ek replied to JodieR33Chick's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I know what you mean. It sounds like a windscreen wiper motor going back and forth twice. Very faint though can hardly hear it. thought it was just my car hehehe I wouldn't mind knowing what that sound is too, it comes from inside the dash -
SR - Something's Rattling LOL Probably true because all the SR powered cars I been in including my bro's 180 rattles I'm just kidding

Guys, mine started doing this a few months ago, makes it very annoying to reverse park at night To get to the switches do i need to remove the plastic surround on the gear stick? or is it under the car? Did you get this fixed and is there any other things to look for?

haha alright man you're making me look bad lol Your car's come a long way since then hey. I like your nismo lsd, kind of weird being on the front wheels though but pretty cool how the wheel flicks back so quick with it. Anyway no more info lol this aint our thread I'll talk to you later on

ROFL Peter man, i didnt know you read SAU. Get back to PGA. Yeah its been a year it wasnt bone stock, you had gsd3 tyres on it. and you had that whiteline package with the teins didnt you? You weren't slow man I was trying to keep up I still think you're nuts

It really is true about how brave you are. I've driven against my friend in his SSS n14 pulsar. stock except teins, cams and exhaust, dynoed at around 95kw. We havn't dragged, but he let me drive his car and I know without a doubt I can easily beat him on the straight. But we cruised once on the old pacific hwy, I thought I'd go first thinking I didnt want to get stuck behind him, but he was up my ass the whole way to the point where he was starting to piss me off lol. I wasn't exactly slow either, flooring it on the straight and going as fast as i dared around the corners. So on the way back I let him go first and he just took off, he was so far ahead I seriously thought he slid off the mountain lol A few minutes later I see him pulled over the side of the road, bonnet up. I ask him whats wrong and he goes something's rattling. So we look and it turns out he was pushing so hard that the bracket for his battery was bent out of shape and the battery was bouncing around LOL. He had a whiteline sway bar too, and I just thought fark that is one crazy mofo All down to driver skill and balls

I've always wondered too how the Autos do it, as I'm in a manual I dont get it. If you put it in DRIVE and rev to 3000 and hold the brake, wouldnt that just make the car do a burnout while at a standstill? Then if you let go of the brake you'll just get wheelspin and take off?
