Hi guys, trying to diagnose litres of oil that has poured out of the drivers side of the engine under the plenum and im having troubles removing it.
I have removed all the injectors, bolts to the block, fuel rails, and hoses at the rear of the plenum, but having no luck getting the AAC off.
have photo attached
got one of the bolts off, but is there and easier way? i can wiggle the plenum assembly around off the block, but cannot remove it as it wont come out far, can only assume its just the AAC still attached causing this.
Prior to all the belts coming off the car was making a weird whiring noise, i got the power steer unit overhauled, and have just inspected the belt which seamed in great shape for 90,000kms, and the idlers and pulleys seamed healthy too
i did notice the pulley on the aircon unit has a little bit of play in it unlike all the other pulleys, when spun freely it makes a grinding noise, how hard is it going to be to fix this? and will i need to dump the gas?
thanks for the help guys, once this is sorted, hicas and the massive ammount of grease i found under the front left steering rack i can maybe get the car i purchased from a dealer interstate on the road!
