ok stop looking found reverse, car hasn't been driven for ages only started so i took it out of the shed and reved it in reverse and it kicked in( nearly cleaning up my wifes passat) so it seems ok

s1 auto reverse gone any ideas?

haven't used my ipod thru my xanavi for so long i forgot how to access vtr2, thought all i used to do was select tv and choose vtr2 now i can't locate it, any help appreciated.

protex dr 12834 are direct replacement for std s1 rear rotors, cheap alternative if your can,t source a upgrade quickly,

has anyone finally found out a direct swap rotor (front and rear) for a s1(not rs4s) without having to machine or modify....or don't they exist ?

well done liam ,it's proggressing nicely, some cosmetics( body kit) and engine management(safc etc) and your nearly there......and then when you get bored with that stick in a rb26 and manual box

i went with the c.e.s split pipe with full s/s system because 1. cause i had the cash at the time 2. i wanted a custom quality fabrication 3. i wanted more power 4. i wanted better fuel, i got all four....when i drove the car back from brissie i kept changing it in to nuetral cause i thought iy was in 2nd (auto)...and i keep saying it and you longtime forum members are probably sick of hearing it bit i'll say it again it sounds like ripping silk

if your looking for a few more ponies a split front dump from c.e.s at brissie.... 29kw 4wd gain... sexy spool sound... get a good cat and magnaflow muffler....value for money + better fuel...and your a happy chappie

your stagea has a (like post states) self closing boot ,when closed to slightly ajar the motor engages and pulls the boot closed.
