  1. sorry neil don,t mean to freak you, i looked at the car and was interested, but the p/beaters seemed dodgy, thats if it's the same place.
  2. i remember when you introduced your car to this forum and i asked if you bought it on the g/coast, just out of interest is the p/beater situated at molendinar.....the reason i ask is that i had a good look at this car at p/btrs.....wondering if it's the same car, goodluck.
  3. find your colour code on your identifacation plate on your firewall (drivers side) under the model no.like stinky says only one red, some have super fine hard coat as a extra, mine is kr4 with a 'z' after it which i think denotes sfhc.
  4. i run a neo safc it didn't give me better fuel consumption it gave me 18 extra kw with the same consumption, what improved my consumption to 480-500 was a locally built s/steel split f/dump with full 3 1/2'' system
  5. weird how one model can be so different wether it's a s1 or s2,the 2 i've checked have had the same plastic retaining ring and rubber boot(obviously to stop moisture) but the way some are hacked when complied you could end up with anything
  6. hi freddy welcome to the stagea site, nothing much worse than the 'missus' telling you your a d/head, but things should improve if you listen to the boy's( well most of them),your stagea even with a shitty std exhaust and running sweet should return approx 240km for 1/2 tank(with good system & supporting mods ie panel filter, safc etc you will get consumption better than that). have a good search it's all been discussed heaps, you will find most of the answers here somewhere, goodluck. ps did you buy the car off someone from here?
  7. 1st remove plug from bulb 2nd unscrew black retaining ring (bayonet type, just a turn a/clockwise) this then reveals rubber boot (seal) remove, a closer inspection & you will notice bulb is held in by spring clip, remove bulb, bulb has 3 positioning pins
  8. 95 might seem cheaper but i think in the long run you should find better mileage out of higher octane hence better value for your dollar not to mention benifits to your motor
  9. never park a stagea on a passenger side angle with less than 1/4 tank( steep gutter etc), car no go
  10. just my opinion i'd be trying to keep the car if it's that good and enjoy it cause unless your prepared to take a bit less than 30k (try 25k) your probably not going to move it ( check out prices, car sales, drive.com' j- spec etc, the arse has fallen out of the market, look at all the stageas for sale ) not a real good time to sell, maybe a collectors car like yours might appreciate if kept in good nick, but if you really have to sell it and want a quick sale get your money back plus a couple of grand, good luck and i hope you dont have to sell it looks real nice.
  11. just check stagea forum heaps of info on fmic
  12. wtf going on with you (14.7psi) did this guy steal your gf, why don't you just piss off and let the guy sell his car( about time mods shut you down) bump
  13. hey gary whats going on you didn't even once mention pfc and autos, your not relaxing your views on this combo are you? cheers leigh.
  14. hi juggler, there has been quiet a bit written about stageas especially s1 & s2, you can probably locate these reviews thru high performance imports (magazine), also you can view a review buy searching stagea on youtube, as far as post 2001 series go it's new ground for most of us although a few of the guys have had experience of these later models (search site), as far as safety go's s1 & s2 chassis are specially designed for safety (side impact etc, some of the more knowledgeable members could maybe shed some light on this area). good luck. ps if your into the cosmetics theres plenty of avenues out there to make your stagea stand out without having to do a frontend conversion.
  15. o'briens came to the spraypainters where i had the car,(stonechips) the day after i enquired, fitted the screen(i only dealt with them over the phone), shannons paid approx $275, was very happy with the service.
  16. passed a light blue coupe on the esplanade at surfers yesterday, impul kit with a high mount rear spoiler, also a vey clean(maroon i think) sedan also in surfers.
  17. looking for someone to fit a camber and caster kit, i've used a couple of shops for various things and both seemed ok, although i went off one when he wanted my car for two days, so i just thought i would sound you guys out , maybe theres someone out there you would recommend. thanks leigh.
  18. remember i am only 66yo......... yeh c'mon hugh, you been a member now..... uh 2006 thats what ah.. a couple of years, come clean man
  19. good question. .........
  20. mike is that on std turbo?
  21. hmm what a predicament r34 or v35, i've always loved 34's they don't really age the're a great platform to modify and the're pretty cheap, now the v35, the more i look at e'm the more i like e'm, with the right kit they look hot (coupe), i think they look like a 350z big brother, and as far as extrcacting a few more ponies out of it there are a few goodies out there, if you got enough fun tickets to throw around how about a nice shiny twin turbo kit yeh that would put a smile on my dial.
  22. good buy mitch look forward to seeing the both of you around good driving leigh.
  23. bet you can't wait to give that a belt up the east coast and back down the midlands, or is that still to far for tasmanians to drive
