  4. all i use is a enjo mit & cold water about twice a week, real easy to clean & comes up great, takes about ten mins[now someone will probably tell us enjo's no good]
  5. i've been checking them out for awhile now & the more i look the more i like, they look schmick with a good body kit. they also seem to be getting a bit cheaper to, 2003 on j-spec $29300,2004 $38600 2006 $49700,...yeh i'll have one... a black one.
  6. thats bullshit andy,i can't believe your car hasn't sold, theres people out there buying stageas for what.. maybe $12grand to $16grand imported $16 to $20 at a car yard and of course what are you going to do ......UPGRADE....you might not think about spending money at the time but we all know the bug gets you....wheels...exhaust...suspension...ecu...hiflow etc etc. i'd recommend to anyone out there who is looking at a stagea look at this one, not that i've seen this car but if i was in the market i'd give this car a serious look. ps i'm not on any sort of commision but if you sell it in the next day or so yeh there should be a beer in it for me, good luck, leetom
  7. page 162 stagea manual, synchro mode, by increasing the drive force to the front wheels, the synchro mode provides enhanced acceleration from standstill and turning performance on icey roads and in severe conditions. advice when the synchro mode function is turned on, the following phenomenon will occur[these are no abnormalities] .tight cornering effect when driving at slow speed. .vibration when the engine is turned off with the steering wheel turned completely to the left or right. switch. off..100%of the drive force will be on the rear wheels when taking off.when the rear wheels are slipping, transfer the drive force to the front wheels. on..the front and rear wheels will share 50%of the drive force each providing stronger takeoff stability.
  8. it's ok to use, it just locks it in 50/50,great to use for quick getaway, probably wont help fuel consumption
  9. hey guys please enlighten me, maybe iv'e had to many beers, iv'e looked at this thread on & off for ages now thinkin great idea ...what am i misssing, help me out, when you close your bonnet does it not seal down on your radiator bar blocking any air intake???? creating a scoop under bar is still going to be blocked by the ribbing under the bonnet is'nt it. to allow air would'nt you have to cut that part of your bonnet that seals down directely in front of your scoop.....am i loosin it or what

  13. good luck with the car mate you will have to let us know how a 1600kg 2.5ltr non turbo stagea goes.
  14. i want to stick one of these on my stagea,(anyone got one on there stagea)not real keen on cutting anything & i'm lead to believe you can use existing piping holes & with a dayz bar hopefully no chopping there either.
  15. your not cutting anything your removing the T piece linking standard solenoid to actuator blocking bottom line off solenoid with small bolt, connecting mbc between i/c piping & actuator. somewhere on here is instructions & photos
  16. we will be also interested to see what you get, who did you get it thru and are there any pics, good luck leetom.
  17. my 1st choice of fuel was bp ultimate but of late i've been using vpower i think i'ts improved economy & possibly performance, regulary get 450 to 500 plus

  20. hi dave, just read your post thought someone else would of helped you out buy now[lazy bastards] as far as the screen goes at this stage all it does is run your a/c,no real drama to operate & if the screen annoys you just turn it of[when you work out which touch controls to use] screen topic has been discussed heaps, have a search. pretty sure only turbos allowed in aus, dont even think about non turbo defeats the whole purpose of owning a stagea, as far as fuel goes they use heaps[been covered plenty...search] can be ok with the right mods & tune & a light shoe, i've had 10/100 hwy, cheers leetom
