  1. bosch 040 044's are probably the most popular replacement for nissans, with the 040 handling aprox 300kw,easy to install(just a little cutting and shutting of your cradle) not overly expensive, there's s/load of info on most skyline forums about them, happy searching and hope you get a good result.
  2. motorman imports have a s2 260 for $23,000, same car is also on ebay, seems preety cheap? but not much of anything is selling at the moment.
  3. cut out the midlife crisis stuff mate you dont have to be young and cool to own a stagea, you can be midlife and cool

  6. noticed a s1 260 (dunno if it's real)on boostcruising for sale in brissie for $11,000 recently, needed a little bit of work apparently? ps who knows it might be a real steal.
  7. as stated fits std cradle(just) with a bit of modifacation, from memory you dont use top part of cradle due to larger diameter of 040, i found the hardest part sliding the cradle back on it's posistioning rails, and i hardly notice the pump noise only on priming and then nothing, and also mine came with a non return valve which i removed hence a little bit longer to crank over,no big deal.
  8. s1 stagea stock turbo safc f/m and exhaust, after driving the car after its been sitting o/nite or after work i notice on the h/way travelling at 110-120 with the boost guage showing zero or just below the motor seems to lag a bit (not miss) till i boot it a bit (on boost above zero) and then it runs fine, drop down on a steady throttle to zero boost and it hiccups again.... off boost car drives fine just around zero on the gauge seems to be where the problem is, seems to do this for a few minutes and then drives fine, i understand it could be any number of things but i thought with the experiance on this forum someone might be able to shed some light on the issue, any help appreciated.
  9. as seen in other pics s1 'lids'
  10. RB4ME is pretty subtle, has to be taken?

  19. allstar performance currumbin(0755342100) seems(has done good work for me and always seems to have some serious gtr's around there) good for mechanical and performance mods, if you've got no mods not much you can tune up, if you have, as mentioned gavin wood or matt spry(pits) on the goldcoast for dyno & engine management, also hear good things about that shop on machinery dve sth tweed (not sure of the name) on the left as you go around to tender centre, good luck.
  20. malaysian release of new maserati's ( 2 door & 4 door), ferrari club of KL were there to fly the flag, the noise was insane as they took of on cruise trying to out pose each other with some serious acceleration up the main st of batu ferringhi (with a police escort) quite a few of them had aftermarket systems, but in the sound stakes nothing sounded quite as good as this art tech cayene i spotted in KL it sounded like ripping silk
  21. i might be wrong but i dont think you'll be getting any ocean views from pearl st cause from memory thats the 2nd street back from marine pde running behind units and main st shops, the only elavated views of the ocean in kingscliff are from a residential area (no parking areas) other spots you get a glimpse are thru the trees at the various car parks along marine pde, possibly the best spot which will accomadate the numbers your talking about is at the river(picnic and parking) on the way out of kingscliff on the way to Salt. good luck hope you get a good turnout.
  22. i'm always keen as long as bloody work does not stuff it up.
