  1. hi sebastiaan, a warm aussie welcome to you, it's a hard choice you are considering, obviously both models are great cars, i think it,s personal taste really although the c34 is an older model they are well advanced and you can still find excellent examples, the m35 is an exciting car with more aftermarket bits available to make it look more desirable, but the main reason i purchased a c34 apart from all the extras that come with my car the one thing that sold me was a tried and tested RB MOTOR. goodluck with your choice whichever way you go you will not be disappointed.
  2. are these cars fully insured and if so don't insurance companies specify they will only insure with a three or more point immobilizer( or have insurance companies slackened the rules nows theres more stageas on the road) and chef stagea was your car stolen when you were running amuck in noosa( hope you get it back ok) ps gps tracker also good value, lucky dave
  3. go to v series section(skyline and other vehicle discussion)
  4. silver coupe at kingscliff nthn nsw i guess around 2003ish as it had brembo's, luv the shape of v35 coupes (350z big brother)
  5. just had the heads up hail was coming(4pm d/saving here on the border) put the car in a multi level c/park and no sooner had it parked and down it come, i stood at the entance and watched the panic,i don't know how there wasn't a few prangs people were going mental trying to get into the c/park ....well what are you brissie people doing reading this it's heading your way and probably about to hit....PANIC
  6. thats way to much fuel( unless your really fanging it), something seems wrong, how does the car run? yes you have to check everything hopefully 02 might help, check or change plugs, std and running well and driven conservatively you should get somewhere between 450-500 km per tank, a good exhaust plus front/dump will also help with economy plus the usual mods safc etc (your cat might be a problem also, not your pussy), goodluck and enjoy and i'm sure many of the knowledgeable members will help you out with any issues.

  8. c'mon boys bite the bullet, you want air don't you get your dremel and cut it out, i went thru the same issues with my s1 dayz, you'll soon get use to it and theres plenty of trimming options out there to finish it off to look std. if you didn't want to cut your backing plate out you should have looked at s/mount options
  9. hey tallguy goodluck car hunting, if your after a s1 or s2 and your planning on modifying ( like most of us) you might be better off buying private as there is quite a few tastfully modded stageas on the market now, to purchase a stock stagea ($12000 -$16000) and then modify it could end up costing you $20000 + and thats just the basics wheels, suspension, exhaust fmic etc , you could possibly find one locally with all those goodies for say around $16000 thats been well looked after and as for warrantys you have to read the fine print there as a lot of them only cover so much and your up for the rest and by the way motovation are on the goldcoast, they have just moved from burleigh heads to ashmore and have changed there name to people movers. goodluck leigh.
  10. hey rik when you put the motor back in it will sit much better
  11. c'mon long33 don't keep us in suspense, give us a clue.
  12. you young guys wont know where to look coming from SA where you wear clothes,.... babes everywhere,.....your heads will fall off,.....your not gay are you?, theres heaps to do on the sunshinecoast as all places mentioned are just a short drive from each other, are you driving up?. when in noosa go to fraser island then check out the markets at eummundi and while there go to the pub and get a few eummundi lagers into you, now your primed to hit the town, go to a nice restaurant at noosaville then up to the reef hotel and see where that leads to...next day drive up to rainbow beach and roll down the coloured sands and see if that fix's your hangover, if not go to the local have a couple of hair of the dogs and if it's lowtide you can drive your stags back to noosa along the beach........shit i should be a travel agent
  13. if only they didn't do that european(volvo) thing with the taillights i'd be interested ( c'mon you you guys admit... those bloody taillights )
  14. clint look a couple of posts down( sk's suspension group buy,all will be revealved) and think twice about 2nd hand shocks, and i think you will find s1,s have eye and bushes(apart from 260,s)
  15. hey mate good to see your still around, any chance of emptying your inbox.
  16. i agree front needs to be lower,( but then you've got camber issues, thats why i went 18's with camber kit, those front guards take a bit to fill out) and how are those knees tangles getting in to a lower car..... buy the way lose the stag badge, front looks heaps tougher without it
  17. hi and welcome cheeky, question should be in general topics but it,s pretty easy to get an idea of prices, check normal avenues like drive.com, cars guide etc also check importers, j-spec, prestige etc, you will find 260rs prices all over the shop from as low as $25k to as high as $35k just like r34 prices 99-2000 models from $20to $30k(buy the way do you have a 260 ?)
  18. i know theres a fair bit to read in the suspension thread but you maybe should have another look it's been covered to death, sedan springs going on a wagon is a much discussed topic, a bit of advice check out sk's suspension thread throughly....... everything you want to know.... goodluck.
  19. shit can't enlarge sorry. try this one
  20. i'd say the reason johnny went a mbc was to run 10psi thru the entire r/range.... much more responsive and enjoyable than 2 stage like your running if your still soleniod controlled
  21. you wont be able to sit down for a month mate, you have been well and truly ass raped if you paid anywhere next to 2k, my bill came to $600ish all oils timing belt water pump labour etc that was about a year ago.
  22. enjoy the car guys, i'll miss waving to previous owners around murwillumbah.
  23. my opinion...... steer clear of 19's 1. they cost to much. 2. unless you drive on the smoothest hotmix all the time 18's are about the max otherwise you will develop rattles and squeaks that shite you off no end, and on the nightshade my car is same silver with black rims so i went n/shade front and side indicators full window tint (the socalled stealth look ) but wasn't real keen on doing the t/lights incase i got busted and had to replace them(if i can pick up a spare set at the right price i would like to give them the dark treatment)
