  1. I drive a 4 door auto: 1. Expect to see vehicles between 80k - 120k, be wary of anything saying less. Still, km's don't mean a whole lot to these vehicles. 2. I don't have any issues with it, obviously Auto's tend to be cheaper as there's less of a demand 3. All the stuff you'd do with any other car you'd buy. on sedans: Don't think there is a huge different between them. Having the 2 extra doors though is handy.
  2. Congrats, can't wait to get home and hear what it sounds like (stupid work computers)
  3. Spotted a silver R33 4 door on logan road this morning. And there was a plateless dark grey R32 at vehicle inspections yesterday. Is somebody here getting a new car?
  4. Spotted ARE34 black R34 (obviously) in the city tonight driving towards QUT GP
  5. You can sell it unregistered without the RWC. Expect to lose a lot of money on the sale, as imports (or cars in general) without a RWC lose a lot of value. Why are you selling it? Why don't you look at getting it re registered down there?
  6. Disclaimer: I work for RACQ, but not in vehicle inspections. This is my own opinion. 1. Really know imports? No. They'll pick up the normal car type stuff, but not import specific. However, they still get plenty of imports down there at EMP 2. As per 1, except they'd have seen even less imports.
  7. I am so burnt just from sitting in the sun waiting for something to happen
  8. It got canned today because of track conditions. Only got through a few races before the R100 hit the wall and they pulled the plug a few hours later.
  9. So, who else here saw that guy smack the wall? OUCH!
  10. 4" and legal? I wish you the best of luck.
  11. I wouldn't think there would be any difference between R34 rubber wipers and any of the universal ones you can get at any auto store. Last time I bought wipers, there were two different types of "universal" wipers available that covered any type of wiper blade. Silicon ones cost ~$7 if I remember correctly and work better, so long as you can handle them squeaking if the windscreen isn't wet enough. You just buy them and cut them down to size as required. Just take the rubber down to any store and see what you can match up
  12. Spotted dave in his red ceffy stuck far further back in traffic on the gateway than normal.
  13. Spotted a white R34 heading east on miles platting road this morning
  14. When was that? I often go there, but not for a week or so. And I know your car, so I would have waved. Must be the other sedan around here
  15. I don't really have any decent pictures of my car on it's own. This is my favourite picture of it though, kudos to anybody who can recognise their car in the shot:
  16. Spotted a white R34 heading to sandgate on the deagon deviation. Also spotted another white R34 with a black (GT?) wing) heading up logan road
  17. Yeah, this was a 2 door I've see quite a few skylines on that intersection, though I don't think I've ever seen yours there.
  18. Spotted a rather dirty white R34 at the logan road, miles platting road set of lights.
  19. I normally fill up at around 50L mark and get 430 - 450km from that. That's with plenty of time on boost, but mostly highway driving. Only mod is that's running 9psi of boost constant
  20. Selene - greek goddess of the moon/night Sexy name for a sexy car
  21. It would have been last sunday
  22. Are you the stagea that was at brunswick heads a couple of sunday's ago?
  23. brrrrrrrrrssssssssszzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZ tsst!
  24. It's easy enough to tell whether you have extractors or not. Pop the bonnet and look for something like these: Extractors (thanks to whoever's car/pic that is) As Eug said, the primary and secondary pipe sizes play a role in the power gain (plus where in the rev range it comes in) for the same reason as mentioned above with the volumetric vacuum. If you're unsure, but still ready to upgrade, then your best bet is probably to take it down to a recommended local exhaust shop, have them stick it up in a hoist and then tell you your options MV Automatics is definately what I meant, it's on my list of things to do with my 34. Other than that, you're best off searching in this section for all the usual NA mods to do.
