  1. Cornering will most likely be a bad fuel pump install, Overfuelling in 1 cylinder cant be an injector oring, as its an rb20 running top feeds
  2. Just hope you dont get hit up for duty/gst
  3. But you wont lose oil pressure, as it will only break the arm off. You can take the notch with a die grinder or even a round file if needed, just mark the pistons first.
  4. Out of interest, was he running e85, what sort of EGT's are you guys seeing with E85.
  5. Just be mindfull that the Mines ECU will make it run rich as, and may detonate on our fuel
  6. Should be tuned for all load points, but that depends on the tuner, what ecu.
  7. Before you tried the pipe, how were you mounting the sensor? Or was it swaying in the breeze? No way it is 3 seconds at full load, otherwise power runs wouldnt log even close. Old sensors are slower than new ones, and at idle mine is probably 2 sec difference between dump pipe and tailpipe.
  8. It would go well on a honda, their motors spin backwards
  9. Wouldnt it be easier to notch the piston. Not trying to be rude, but if the squirter breaks, how will you know?
  10. vl block says rb30 ends wit A6, skyline says rb30 ends just wit A Interesting, can anyone explain why?
  11. R32gtr radiators fit ca18 s13's
  12. Looking at the pics, im guessing you have a tdo5hr(r means reverse rotation) , with a tdo5h exhaust housing which is why its spinning backward, it may still be a good turbo.
  13. I actually really like where rob is heading with the sump mounted "external pump" Plenty of toyotas have these, just a chain driven pump that sits in the sump, neat and tidy.
  14. "That is all." Better not be, this is one of the best threads(apart from wasteland)
  15. In petrols that is the case somewhat, but certainly not diesels.
  16. Not a hope, considering you will need 1000cc injectors at a minimum, x6=360lph, but that flow is not at the pressure that you will need (approx 70psi)
  17. Are you sure about that, usually the stock manifold/throttle body has dramas iff the engine mounts aren't lowered, and im pretty sure the throttle body fouls on the bonnet in a plazmaman, but the only r33 rb30 i have done had a greddy.
  18. Sell me the 26/30 for $750, then you have $250 towards the conversion. IMO it depends how far you intend to go with this, being that the end difference will probably be less than 1 sec around a track.
  19. IMO, far better off running rb25 cams and enable the vct
  20. Plenty of people have tried rb26 cams in a hydraulic application(myself included), and they do not work.

    Hks Gt1000 !

4 additional injectors, some things haven't changed with HKS
  22. Local guy is an idiot, how is it intermittant if it wont start. If there is injector pulse, then it wont be cas, does the fuel pump come on with ignition for a few seconds, and then again when cranking? Power at the coils, Ecu and igniter/coils earthed? Are you sure there is no spark? You can measure Afm voltage with ignition on at the ecu to confirm wiring and afm's. How do the plugs look? Maybe Double check the cam timing, and while you are at it does it still have the locating pin in teh front of the exhaust cam to align the cas?
  23. Even though i agree, i cant see them being able to knock it back on this, chrome bits are just as shiney.
  24. You really are better off buying an excel/corolla for the first year or 2, just think, what you will save in insurance costs will be a quarter of what the car costs.
  25. Exactly, the oil drain is 5/8, but a -10 fitting isnt.
