Hi there mate i can get jun style rb20det and rb25det plenums a lot bigger the size then those greddy plenums, i am working out a price with a supplier at the moment max should be $600 delivered depending on how many we order if you can get 10 people then i can probably even get a better price, pics of the plenum are below i have one and am putting it on my rb25/30. Plenum is good just needs cleaning up around the inside of the tb and runners have a look at the pics. Should take about 3 weeks till they arrive once we place order. Got a reply from the ebay guy in japan, he said he can only post it via ems as he lives in the mountains, that means it is something like $170 postage each!

How did you manage to connect the supercharger outlet to the turbo intake? same diameter inlet/outlet? Im pretty sure its going the other way around

with the autronic, you can datalog wheelslip in % and speed, boost, rpm then you set the boost, you can then set the traction control to slightly above this which is set up as an allowable wheelslip% vs road speed

I only mentioned traction control to demonstrate that it must have more than one sensor, hence the option to control boost with the driven or non driven wheel speed

Sounds like a good time for a 3litre conversion

I may be after a new turbo for my 6.8l truck, if you dont end up sing it, let us know, we may be ablt to work something out

Hopefully the front key is missing, then it will be a fairly cheap fix.

SM2 runs multiple sensors, as it also has traction control, you can set the boost to run off the front or rears(although i dont know why you would)

If they have quoted you $2500, that isn't unreasonable, its a motor out job, and may require a replacement crank(fairly likely) what they have told you is correct, sounds like a good time for a cheap 3 litre conversion

Im pretty sure it can be done to some degree with a SM2 autronic, there is definately a speed trim, but im not sure how comprehensive it is, i think its set up for drag cars

We got one of these with a kit off ebay, they are designed for a truck where the dumppipe is a cast piece with like a piston ring arrangement that attached to the manifold. I was going to turn up a flange and drill and tap the ex housing to attach said flange, but the turbo was nothing special, so i didn't end up bothering. If you really want to run this turbo, you could send me the housing and i can get a mate to turn up a dump pipe flange that will fit it, and then drill and tap the housing

I have the plenum, but i gave the linkage to the guy who bought the throttle bodies, ill see if i can get it back if he's not using it, brakes are R32 gtr(not brembos-not at that price!!)

Unfortunately just because the boost was held at 1 psi doesn't mean the w/g is big enough, as it only has to bypass 320kw of exhaust gas to hold boost there, when the car starts making boost, there is heaps more exhaust gas for it to control.

sm4 has knock sensor capability, it trims individual cylinder timing (only retards knocking cylinders)
