  1. About 12mm, its best to have the rb25 backing plate, but you make do without. The rb26 cam covers are also a lot higher than the rb25 ones.
  2. You need a fwd motor, rwd ones are worth about $500
  3. Or get a billy cart, a winch and a massive elastic band
  4. I wonder what ecu it is running to allow 20 psi
  5. ^^^Gee great help What exhaust housing are you running?
  6. For the power you are after, it wont make much difference, i would measure the head volume,. Probably find some 9.3 cp's will make up for the head mods and end up around 9
  7. The adapter doesnt make a difference to the height, I was looking at modifying the timing cover, and tigging a new piece at the top, as there is quite a bit of clearance between the rb26 cover and the timing belt. PS the rb25 covers sit much lower . I like the idea of the CF bonnet with the bulge, is it $880, or have i misread?
  8. Is it inlet or exhaust, i would pull the manifold off, and use whatever you can to try and get the valve back up. $165 for a boreoscope would be very handy, and you can easily sell it when done. 5 min araldite on a bit of wire to pull the valve up,
  9. That looks pretty good, cant we all agree to this
  10. Ahh forgot about that one
  11. So what was sucking in unmetered air?
  12. Sorry, that doesnt make any sense, if the BOV waws leaking under full load, it would be blowing, not sucking, and would richen the mixtures. The only way it could lean out is if the pressure reg was T'd off the same vacuum line as the bov?
  13. Plenty of wd40, leave to saok, and work the bolts back and forward. If you arent expecting to make more power, why are you changing up a housing?
  14. Your willing to bed a magistrate LOL each to their own
  15. Why not get on the freeway, unplug the alternator and adjust the values as the battery flattens
  16. TBH for that price, what gain do you expect over an 18 inch setup?
  17. If it goes better than your old r33, then i would just see what boost it is running before you do anything. At a guessyou will get better gains by having the ecu remapped than than turning the boost up more.
  18. Ive got a similar machine with the plasma. 3 years later and plenty of hours its still going strong. Also get a pair of tig gloves.
  19. Agreed, it will probably go for 80
  20. Thats more power than the NSW solar rebate scheme. Must be crazy to drive
  21. Nah, too long, high mount rigoli style with a 45 deg bend so you dont melt the windscreen
  22. Mate to be honest there is 100 questions we can ask to help diagnose, but at the end of the day if the tuner cant diagnose it then you need a new tuner. However the stock manifold will definately be becoming a restriction much above what you are making.
