500hp? You can do it with stock internals, pretty much any aftermarket pistons and rods will be up to the task(Just remember you need different pistons for a neo 25/30 to a normal 25/30) I used ACl VL flat top rb30 forged pistons for the last neo30 build, cant remember what the CR ended up, but around 8.8:1 from memory.

Thats two different scenarios, the actual energy require to split the water is more than obtained by the burning of the hydrogen, so it would be like using a solar panel to power eddissons light bulb, then a new one and expecting it to work at night. Otherwise hydrogen power would be perpetual energy.
I just sold an rx8 for 4700, would not recommend, they are at the age that all their motors are shagged, they basically do the rotary equivalent of a head gasket, second hand motors are 5k, exchange rebuilt 7k, as much as the car is worth, and fuel economy lol
Just got on CT and found that heaps of people are running a8(turbo) pumps in big hp/8000rpm cars running down to 9's, just never heard of vls breaking pumps, seems to be a skyline thing. If simon s14 is running a stock na pump, then it would have even less load onthe drive flats, as they flow even less, wonder what his oil pressure is like
