  1. That stuff will be hard to use, as it is fairly recognisable, bloody lowlives
  2. I would ask for further evidence, by the time that comes, then you may choose to contest it at court, you should have some points back at least.
  3. Are you trying to run your previous rb25 fuel map with the rb30 and just adgust the scaling? That should work if the afm is the same, however the rb30's do seem to need more fuel? Is o2 feedback off, maybe the initial start has killed the sensor? Definately get a fuel pressure gauge on it to be sure. At the end of the day if the car runs consistently well with the settings you have put in it i wouldnt be overly concerned. Do you have a wideband you can leave on it for monitoring?
  4. Gibson should have used chromies, seems $7500 is above the reserve
  5. Obviously a stock turbo@9psi is going to be heaps slower than a highflow@14psi
  6. It will fit, just need to rotate the housings, and fit a 10mm spacer between the turbo and the manifold

    Gtr Vs Bird

How many birds can you pull with an r35? Good thing it wasnt 10cm lower
  8. TBH with the problems you are describing, i would take it straight to a local mechanic who is familiar with GTR's. The sounds you are describing could be anything from injectors to bearing knock, if so every km you drive it is doing more damage.
  9. Wonder what bolt pattern that flange is?
  10. What model is it off, they are all different
  11. Lag time certainly has much more effect at idle and cruise than full throttle. If you cant find latency numbers for an injector, it can be calculated manually. I ahd to do this on one car by setting the afr at 14.7 at say 3000 rpm no load, tehn disconnect the alternator, and as the battery dies, you manually alter the lag time.
  12. Volumetric efficiency, basically the ecu determines the amount of air entering the motor by measurements multiplied by a fuel table multiplied by a target air/fuel table, and this ends up with a calcultion of the amount fo fuel needed
  13. Just dont expect it to hold pressure, as the air will go through the motor.
  14. Lag changes with battery voltage, and the ecu must add appropriate time to the fuel table to compensate. Also if you are V.E. tuning, then the ecu calculates the amount of fuel injected, so it must add the lag time to the calculated injection time.
  15. 30 psi will lift the bov's off theor seat, TBH pump it up till it wont go higher(BOV's will open) Probably about 10 psi is plenty.
  16. If you havnt done it before, allow about 8-10 hours. Make sure you have ratchet spanners and a 1/4 ratchet set with a uni
  17. Could also be valve springs?
  18. Pretty sure t cant be wood unlless you want to have it fumigated. I would get some plastic pallets and fab something up
  19. If this thread is about ecu's under $1000, then only a second hand ecu will get you there, PFC for under $1000 for an rb25 is marginal on finding one.
  20. I would also got it balanced
  21. But is it an ato catch can, then you dont need to hook up the gauge at all, as the oil pump is pressurising the atmosphere
  22. NEO's dont have an igniter at the back of the head, its built into the ecu. What trouble code is it showing?
