  1. Or adjustable camwheels
  2. Fuel pressure should be about 45psi with the vac hose disconnected off the reg, but if you are getting fuel out the return then there is enough pressure to start it assuming the reg isnt stuffed
  3. Connect the bottle to the return hose, not the feed
  4. Or even better get a 3.5inch cat now that you have stuffed your old one
  5. Put an 80mm pipe between the merge on the dumps and the catback and see if it is better. Seems to be a big restriction increase when only increasing the boost a little, however punched out cats tend to cause a lot of turbulance
  6. Or just put it on the dyno and see if it is detonating. You could always pull a few degrees out(2 or 3 mm at the cas)if you are concerned in the meantime.
  7. Check trouble codes then check fuel pressure
  8. How about an aeromotive pump, twin feeds for the rail(splitter then reducers)as most high hp rb's run. Are you satisfied with that. IMO a wideband will not help, ive got one on my car, and it really is the last thing you are looking at under full throttle
  9. Ive got an autronic big mac valve, but the tag has been removed, and an autronic label instead, typical richard aubert
  10. Depends how it fails. If it dies, the the motor will stop running, wheras with a twin setup, if one fails the motor will lean out the next time it sees full load
  11. Come on ash, you know better than that, z32's can be used with a remapped factory ecu, but unless you have well over 400rwkw, there are better options
  12. I dont know if i would consider stock rb30 pistons to be too safe at 300rwkw, plwnty have done it, but they tend to be people who constantly monitor their tunes
  13. What turbo, what internals
  14. I would just check the trouble codes
  15. Never had them tight, just tap gently around the edges of the gear, adn i should come off. There isnt much holding them on except for the bolts
  16. Could be an exhaust leak, but i would check the fault codes
  17. Rubber would be fine
  18. Forget that its an rb30, the air is getting in there somewhere, either the throttles arent adjusted correctly, vacuum leak, or a drama with one of the idle solenoids.
  19. What have you changed since it was pulled apart
  20. Pretty sure they will be 4x114.3, i have the same wheels in 17x8 and 17x9
  21. Input shaft is different from the main shaft
  22. Better than PFC, but it all comes down to the tuner
  23. Im assuming you are using the stock wastegate, and not an external. IMO this could well have contributed to te failure of cylinder #1, as the manifold pressures of cylinders 1,2 & 3 would be far higher than 4,5 & 6 as the wastegate only feeds off those cylinders, which would mean that the tune would be conservative on the back 3 cylinders.
  24. Curious, how are they redrilled, and still fit the merc?
