  1. I used ACL rb30et pistons in the 25 NEO/30 i built, it ended up being about 8.8:1. All r34 rb25det's are NEO's. I would read the PDF about the conversion, as it has all the answers to your questions. You need to weld the vct in the head, and weld some extra material on the front water gallery as well whilst you are at it. Then surface grind. The cas makes no difference, as you will use the cas that matches the car adn head and cams which is all NEO. What turbo are you planning on running, as that basically dictates hat internals you require.

  4. My hks kit has some stainless pipe there, but vac lines have been used many times without drama. I would probably use silicon vac hose, and put a 90 deg brass fitting on the bottom connection to keep the hose as far away from the heat as possible.
  5. I wouldnt wait for the weekend, just rip the plugs out and give it a crank and have a look at the oil. You dont want to leave a bore full of water for any longer than necessary

Basically having the AFM means you should run the BOV recirculating, I have had a non BOV car for a number of years, and the thrust surfaces of the bearing were worn, probably excessively by the "dose" as the spinning assembly goes back and forth. However the turbo is many years old, runs 20 psi, so it certainly hasnt "failed"

  12. What do you mean by the injectors arent firing at idle? The fuel has to be coming from somewhere? I would say the ttp min setting needs to be adjusted as the larger injectors need less ms on overrun. You are running a recirculating BOV aren't you?

  16. Have you tried unifilter or K&N, you can buy them by measurement
  17. These wheels came on my 32 gtr, and ive since upgraded them to the same wheels in 18's to clear my new brakes. Rear tyres are fairly new Yokohama D1 235/45r17, front are nothing special and a bit worn, still legal though. Ideal for an s13 owner with a 1/2 done 5 stud conversion. Clears 4 spot calipers obviously. Looking for $900 0423 328 738
  18. Do a diagnostic check, the ecu is retarding the ignition timing to try and drag the idle speed down
  19. Could be a fuel leak from the pump inside the tank, seen this a few times
  20. What is it about unmatched cams that you dont like?
