  1. My one isnt runing yet, but i tuned another rb30/25NEO that i built, with an rb26 ecu and nistune. Its probably about as complicated a setup as you would want, using a custom afm, but it tuned up fine.
  2. That does sound more likely, as im sure the autronic cant be that bad relative to the vipec. I mean the only bit that would really effect the drivability would be the cams and to some degree the tps mapping although i think thats pretty much sorted as autronic have been doing it for years.
  3. Has your boost gone up at all since the tune, it could be fuel cutting.
  4. I think you should check your bill, im sure it wasnt $1500 including tune, as the ecu alone is more than that
  5. Wonder what itll make when you turn the boost up? j/k congrats on the excellent result, what spec turbo did you end up using?
  6. I wouldnt bother with rods, the stockers are more than adequate for these sort of power levels.
  7. Do you think it is possible to do an external wastegate with the port under the manifold so it remains stealth?
  8. 320awkw is abit of an exaggeration if 14 psi is high boost. Welcome to expensive gtr ownership.
  9. I agree, 1000's should only be running at about 70% to make 400rwkw
  10. I would imagine that you will need to buy th ewhole catridge.
  11. Or you can get a fitting that goes onto the bundy tube with an an fitting on the other end.
  12. Yep. If you use the rb25 balancer and accessoried, then the stock rb25 belt sizes will fit.
  13. Why would you raise the fuel pressure when the fuelling issue is already fixed with the injectors. An 040 is more than adequate for the power he is making. Wolf is map sensored.
  14. Or even easier, what tractive effort, its already in Newtons. Just make sure the powerr run is done in 4th, as then you dont need the gearbox ratios.
  15. Im assuming the injectors were limiting the power, why it is running 1.1 bar to max out the injectors is the real question. You need to remember that setting up the cam gears is a bit of a time consuming process in an rb, as the cas need to be removed every time you want to adjust, so it will cost you a bit in dyno time.
  16. You can calculate it
  17. Check the trouble codes
  18. Are you sure the stocker was leaking?
  19. I would definately have the tune checked afterward
  20. Do you think the reading becomes more accurate as the temp increases?
  21. What boost are you running? If the stock hoses are blowing off, then there is an issue.
  22. It works fine, however if you run significant boost, then the housing will split/crack. The only real reason i can see for doing it is so you can run an amo BOV without the overfuelling, but for that to work the afm has to be plumbed after the BOV
