  1. Maybe if you wake up before 11 then the problem will come back, easy fix... sleep in
  2. What makes you say that about the rear rear alignment. I would have thought the 30psi boost hit + 7.5 psi would have been like driving a marshmellow on ice
  3. Why wouldnt you just put a nistune in the vl ecu?
  4. Can you plumb it back
  5. I seriously hope you are offering to fix the s2000, as your approach to this has been an accident waiting to happen.

I hear microtech are looking into a plug and play microfueller setup
  7. Out the side of the housing so its plumbed to both halves.
  8. I wouldnt mig it, you stick weld cast iron. Have you considered fitting an external gate to a non gated housing so you maximise the scroll seperation?
  9. I would try the stock bov's if you have them, they hold more than 30 psi without drama
  10. The first page says 71mm comp wheel, therefore 3071 AFAIK. I would agree its probably a good setup for the power you are making, however i can see 260rwkw without leaning on it heavily. For over 250 i would use a proper 3071, over 280 a 3076
  11. Did the factory wastegate vent both sides of the twin scroll?
  12. Have you tried backing hte bov adjustment, as it may not be opening. I would say a well built enclosure will make a marked difference to heat and noise.
  13. I have bent an rb30 rod at less than 450rwkw. IMO the safe limit of the stock rods is more like 370rwkw depending on revs
  14. How much positive pressure are we talking?
  15. If both are tuned perfectly, then i doubt you would be able to tell the difference, and nistune has overboost protection if you know what you are doing.
  16. Yes, it is true, you need a remap
  17. How nwill you outgrow nistune, when the japs have been using th esame principle to make 1000hp. For the cost of the vipec, which is totally overkill for your setup, i would go nistune, buy your own wideband and have a crack. Or go nistune and take it to sydney/canberra. If your guy cant tune nistune then i wouldnt trust him with your car even if its a vipec. Remember even with the vipec it could still run like crap, as its only as good as the tune.
  18. Did you swap the sumps, as i believe the front and rear diffs will have different ratios now?
  19. Although it will probably run, its not a good idea, as the ramp angles of the cams are setup for hydraulic lifters, so you will end up with more duration, and possibly burnt valves from being held off their seat longer
  20. No, they will be 1mm higher
  21. Today when i logged on, whenever i click on a thread i can only see one post at a time, with a list of the replies at the bottom. To view the replies i have to click on the list at the bottom one at a time. Cant find any settings that may have been altered. What have i done??
  22. I would be checking the bore, as that will more than likely result in requiring a full set of pistons.
  23. Yes, that is exactly where the confusion came from
