  3. If there is a cooler pipe leak, or incorrectly set wastegates then it is possible for one afm to read higher than the other. Also 4v on a gtr afm is nowhere near 300rwkw, more like 200rwkw.

  5. Most of the catch cans that go above the cam covers automatically drain back to the sump through the breathers. Its defiantely the oil mist that increases detaonation, not the heat of the blowby, but a good catchcan gets rid of the oil out of the blowby.

  7. My guess is that there is water getting into the runners and from there into the oil, if there is heaps of water dripping then it should be fairly obvoius wher e it is coming from, probably should have looked under there before you pulled the manifold off.

  10. Buit a greddy one fits fine on a NEO, just have to use a non neo throttle body. remove the TCS mechanism from the r34 throttle boby and leave ot plugged into the loom so the ecu thinks it is still there.
  11. I doubt you will get 250rwkw, as manuals only seem to get 250 unless they have cams, in which scaswe they get to about 265 with a highflow.

  13. Mate there is two threads about rb30 conversions, i would recommend you read both of them before you even remotely consider doing this.

You can use rb26 cams and camwheels if you are happy to lose the vct. valves and springs cam be bought aftermarket, buckets will be genuine only i would say, but vg30 ones may be the same. rb25 caps and bolts shoudl be the same although you will have to have them line hones as you are mixing and matching sets. hope this helps.

  18. How does the Plug and play go about running map with the multi throttles, does it run tps/map load sensing?
  19. Lat me know if you are interested in seperating the pillar pod, what size are the gauges?
  20. If i recall correctly, rb25 80mm and gtr 65mm afm's use almost the same electrics, its the bigger pipe sixe that makes the difference in resolution, so fitting rb25 afm's into gtr housings wont achieve anything.
  21. Looks like a great build, i would recommend running an external oil pump, and dry sump it or rear sump it so you can lower the motor.

I believe it could be done quite cheaply, using external solenoids and 2 rb25 intake camgears using either head, however it isnt VCT by any stretch of the imaginiation, and tuning two switch on/off points could be time consuming. You may then have to go away and modify the vct mechanism for different angle throw. IMO if you are going to go to all this effort it would be worth investigating a different mechanism say off an evo or mx5, and get true vct, as dirt said the results would be very worthwhile
