  1. Can we sticky that response, as the question gets asked almost weekly.
  2. They dont give more power than FMIC's are you kidding, -30 intake temps seem to tell otherwise, although you can do the same with a fmic by using a co2 spray. I seriously doubt you will notice any better response over a stock gtr setup, even though they have enormous diameter intercooler piping which is rated at around 1000hp.
  3. Is it possible that they soldered a 5 pin polug onto the z32 to make it a plug in arrangement to an rb25?
  4. Is this going in to an "os gieken" bottom end as you have in your sig? I hope that isnt a chinese rip off of an OS Giken
  5. The issue is that the output voltage of the safc is hitting 5.1 v so fitting a q45 wont fix it. What afr is it running when it gets to 5v? just before it cuts out. You can certainly pull a couple of deg of base timing to allow furthur leaning of the mixtures which will reduce the chance of hitting the cut.
  6. Im pretty sure sard do a fitting that gets rid of the stock pressure reg adn allows the sard one to be bolted in its place.
  7. Im assuming you are talking about the rotary?

    Tig Welder

Ive got a $1600 AC/DC 200 amp tig from ebay, has worked without issue for over a year, i use it almost daily in ac and dc. Any decent welder brand holds its value, so you wont be getting a great welder for cheap.
  9. ^^^Once again in english thanks. PS Rb26 injectors dont fit neo's, and sr's are side feed.
  10. Lets hope thats all you need
  11. Sounds like fuel pump.
  12. Although i think they are great, there are 1500hp gtr's running air/air intercoolers, and i cant justify the added expense of the water/air. They work well on dyno queens and drag cars though, but really couldnt work significantly better on a road car, and certainly not for a circuit car. The real gain comes from putting a colder substance than water in the cooler, but it only works for a very short period of time.
  13. Thats the opposite to what most people have found. I would upgrqade the cams, as im very surprised you arent getting valve issues at 2 bar. Properly dialled in cams will make the turbo come on earlier, and extend the power band, allowing you to reduce the boost to a more efficient level.
  14. Do a diagnostic search, could easily be an AFM or cas or igniter.
  15. Because they arecrap, way too laggy for the power that they produce, due to the mismatch of wheel sizes
  16. The 5v is the power feed ot the tps. You need to measure the voltage at the other two wires in the three pin plug, ome should be 0v(earth) and the other should be the signal, 0-5v depending on the throttle position. The 12v is an idle switch.
  17. Have you tried unplugging the cluster to see if it fixes the problem?
  18. Why dont you chack the trouble codes through consult and it will tell you if it is the afm
  19. How much boost is it running, could it be overboosting and hitting fuel cut?
  20. Chip is $220, but it only works as well as the tune, as with all programmable ecu's. Maybe psi dont know how to tune?
  21. Yes it is, are you expecting to max a vg30 AFM out with an rb20? I would be concerned about tuning resolution with an rb20 and a 700hp AFM, and im assuming large injectors. Trying to get light throttle/idle mixtures may `ause issues.
  22. To be honest, i have done this brake conversion on a car. Its really not a good setup at all, as to make the pad gat close to full contact on the rotor, we had to machine a lot of alloy out of the calliper to suit the different diameter rotor, which is certainly highly illegal , as it weakens the calliper, and even after taking enough metal off the calliper that the bolts holding the two halves of the calliper were exposed, even then the pad hung off the edge of the disc, which obviously isnt good for pad wear and brake performance. Although it seems like a good upgrade, the end result is definately a and could never be properly engineered
  23. Is it possible that the adjustable cam wheels have slipped? Thats the only way i can see the timing moving 10deg
  24. Most likely problem is failed oil pump causing spum bearings
  25. Up grade valve springs, springs are about $300, fitting at a guess would be $600 if you can find someone who will do it with the head on
