  1. My guess is it is valve floating causing the lifters to pump up.
  2. Why dont you swap your 555's for these 800's? Everyone wins
  3. Actually just remembered its 70.8mm, therefore in a 100mm internal dia pipe it will max out around 550rwkw
  4. If you measure the internal diameter of the Z32 housing, i can tell you what it will max out in a 100mm internal diameter pipe.
  5. I doubt its the clutch really adding to the issue, you already know its the BOV.
  6. Would have been worse if you had a PFC, as it doesn't retard teh timing and richen the mixtures when there is knock
  7. Does the boost drop suddenly, it could be sucking the intake pipe shut.
  8. I make a plate and weld it to the lower section, stops the frime, and the obvious rb30 conversion.
  9. My only issue with twin z32's is the cost. Using a normal sensor in the bigger pipe, you can bridge and have two plugs on the AFM, which means there is no wiring modifications, then you adjust the AFM curve using datalogit as you say(or nistune as i have done)
  10. Make sure the plug is tightened and pushed into the ecu, they have a habit of flexing.
  11. Plenty of people have made over 200rwkw with an rb25 turbo, and at that power level being an rb20 doesnt make a difference, just takes more revs to do it.
  12. I dont think a z32 sensor in a 4inch pipe will flow enough. Im using an rb26 sensor in a 110mm internal diameter pipe, and should max around 500-550rwkw. The issue i can see is whether it will have the resolution to let the thing idle.
  13. Why do you say changing the pipe size doesn't work? Worked perfectly for me last week.
  14. It could definately explain it, as could a corrupted file.
  15. Do you realise you acn put rb26 covers on the neo head for the wow factor.
  16. rb25 turbo, should be able to make 220rwkw with your mods
  17. You should only just need to trim the cover to suit.
  18. From my experience with the kkr's, the ottomoto ones aren't any better. I replaced a new one one twice whilst on the dyno, and it required extensive mods to make it hold boost.
  19. What exactly do you want to know? The head will bolt on using rb25 head bolts, but as i said the compression ratio will be low due to the difference in cylinder volume. You really aren't gaining anything by using a neo bottom end, as a non-neo bottom end will end up with a more appropriate comp ratio. You could get a set of non-neo forged pistons and fit them to the neo bottom end, that will fix the comp issue.
  20. If it is an ignition missfire, then it would show up as lean mixtures when the fluffyness occurs
  21. Try just holding the revs at 3000
  22. You really need to know if it is an ignition problem or fuel. Can you put a scope on the ignition system, does it do it free revving it to 3000 rpm?
  23. Ash, are they rb26 afm's you are having issues with, they seem to fail far more often than rb20/25 ones, just my observation.
