  1. Ninja, i think you need to find a good tuner, many have had good results with the minor mods you have. Another ecu you may wish to consider for a smaller budget is an emanage ultimate. Both are heaps better than a safc. Having said that look up the thread in the stagea section about the Jaycar fuel trimmer, ive had good results for up to 200rwkw with the stock ecu.
  2. Subaru upper cylinder cleaner, or hook a vacuum hose up to a bottle of water and get those pistons/valves clean
  3. Or have a boost solenoid that switched on the second pump above 5 psi boost.
  4. Could also be the igniter. Why dont you try checking for trouble codes, the AFM will throw a code.
  5. Bump, negotiable, may consider parting out
  6. Anyway, i bought these, and they have ended up being top feed. Honest mistake though. If anyone is interested in them for $570 posted, then that would help sort this out, thanks
  7. Why oh why do croyden use that afr scaling???
  8. Ive got a trigger disk if you want it paul
  9. Can i get pics of the cam gears, do you know if they are the newest version?
  10. Hi, ive just pulled a perfectly running rb25det motor, to fot an rb30. Complete motor excluding cam angle sensor, water and oil lines for the turbo, idle solenoid, harmonic balancer, power steering pump,a/c compressor, alternator and starter motor. Includes new timing belt and water pump (fitted about 10000k ago) turbo(stock) inlet manifold coils and coil loom all still assembled comp tested fine days before it was removed. Located in hornsby, sydney Looking for $1000
  11. The y piece is on the motor, however if it isnt, you can make one, or get an aftermarket one for an rb26, plenty of companies make them.
  12. I would also be looking at your light throttle mixtures, from what i can see it way too rich, but the accel pump may be a contributing factor
  13. Just fit another 023 in the tank, it can be done, or run an external pump without a surge tank
  14. To get the best fuel economy you need to turn the feedback off, and tune for leaner than 14.7:1 at light throttle and cruise.
  15. Why not use an rb26 one?
  16. Rb20 or rb25 one, cheap as chips. I wouldnt pay more than about $30
  17. Rb 26 head on a 25 neo bottom end will have quite low compression, im guessing at about high 7's:1
  18. Just so you know, they have to be machined to drop into an rb20
  19. I use the 150w digitech without drama. $48
  20. Sound great. Unfortunately there is no chance of breaking even especially if you send it to australia, the used car market nowadays means you cant give cars away over here.
  21. The instructions for the studs say hand tight, but i nip them up with an allen key.
  22. Or keep the bigger turbo and fit a bigger motor
  23. Do you mean the ignition power transister? If thats the case, then the coils are basically the same strength, onlt one uses an internal and the other an external. Early rb25's(up to s2 r33)have external. The only thing is the late coils are newer so are morelikely to be in better condition.
  24. Im pretty sure to4z's are GT turbos, and are newer than gt35r's. IMO even a gt35r is too big for circuit work.
