  1. I can already tell you
  2. I would try dropping the cat, check fuel flow/pressure, easiest way is to stick it on a dyno, but to make the most of your setup, your eventually going to really need to get same management. Is it running 10 or 7 psi, it makes a big difference to diagnosing the problem. When it seems to stop, does the boost gauge (im assuming you have one) drop into vacuum, or stay in boost.
  3. Dont forget that most EFI cars turn all the cylinders off under decel
  4. Not a hope, a wrecker isnt going to give you $150 labour for a $30 part. VL water pumps are about $80
  5. Then chuck it in and prove us all wrong. Is this bcoming from someone who has actually done it, or are they just going off the cam specs?
  6. Good result, however i would expect a bit more, as i tuned one with a .63 housing, stock motor, china manifold, and it made 309@16psi
  7. Could you let me know if you decide to separate throttles from plenum.
  8. Im sure, the law doesn't differenciate between driving lights and spot lights. Iv egot no idea why the morons who regulate the complying of new cars allow them to be wired/fitted as they are.
  9. LLLLLLAAAAAAAGGGGGG
  10. I thought they were just a funnel so it can suck more rocks in LOL Seriously the power increase depends on what you are comparing it to, if you compare it to a high flow with a stock intake there would be gains(as the standard intake sucks closed) However compared to a well setup intake, there is minimal gain.
  11. Neo's have more advanced R&R, so its even harder to gain that 20rwkw with FMIC, exhaust and boost, ive seen more than one go backwards with those mods. Has the cam timing been checked yet? The power doesnt sound particularly low, especially if its auto.
  12. Just bolt it on, they are balanced from the factory, unless the machine shop used your existing balancer to rectify any other imbalances
  13. The difference is, it is actually legal to drive with teh fog lights on if the conditions exist, wheras driving lights are only allowed to be used at the same conditions as high beams.
  14. Not true, it is common knowledge that single map sensors struggle with multi throttle arrangements, hence why PFC d'jetro uses 2 sensors, and autronic uses TPS/MAP combined.
  15. Same kit as mine, i think the wastegate spring is 11psi if its the original one
  16. Sounds good, although IMO instead of spending money on exhaust manifolds that make stuff all difference, i would fit some forged pistons. The arp rod bolts only come in packs of 8 so you need 2 packs. I have a 1/2 pack if you interested.
  17. D-jetro if you must run a map sensor, or a plug in autronic SM4 if you want to spend a few more $$$$ Unless you have a specific reason though, i would just fit a standard PFC
  18. Not even remotely close
  19. Is there a greys in vic? Ive been to the one in sydney a few times, but most of the equipment they sell is either pretty shagged, or full industrial gear(they had a 4m bed plasma cutter there)

    Custom Rims

I looked at having this done, and could only find one person who was willing to do it, although he wouldnt warrant the work. Everyone else said that it is too dodgy. The place in qld said that they needed 2 rims to make one.
  21. I removed all the lines, removed the vanes n the back half of the pump, plugged the pump and one of the returns on the resevoir.
  22. Yes, although if the crank needs machining, its easier/cheaper to get one that doesn't
  23. And batch fire injection. If it was my car, unless it happened to run really well, i would pull it out and sell it. Fit an ecu far more appropriate, PFC's sell for not much more than you would get for the microtech.
  24. Are you just trying to be a tool? Should cost about $100-150 for someone to have a look at the exhaust wheel. Is it any laggier than normal?
  25. Just watch your boost gauge to make sure you dont get boost spike, otherwise hook it up between the turbo and the intercooler. The bolt looks like its for a heatshield.
