  4. Yep. headlights are focused down on low beam to reduce glare to oncoming drivers, wheras foglights aren't, hence the reason why its illegal, and a pet hate of mine. If i had my way no cars in aust would have foglights, if 90% cars can get around without them why do the 10% need to drive around with them on?
  5. Theres also a place on silverwater rd that sells 2nd hand and new machinery (ACY machinery i think) although they aren't heaps cheap on the new stuff, what are you after?
  6. By the time you get them reground to suit the hydraulic lifters, disable the VCT get adjustable camgears to set it up on the dyno it works out cheaper to throw a set of drop in cams at it.
  7. 2 1/4 inch piping doesn't cause any noticeable pressure drop at 220-240rwkw, from the couple of systems ive measured. Therefore 2.5in should flow 300rwkw with similar drop, and stock gtr pipework (3 1/4in!) should be fine for 500rwkw, i imagine nissan had a specific reason for using that size though?
  8. Just be sure you get the right one, there are 65 and 80mm versions.
  9. My engine has teh modified SBC conrod option. If i built it now, i wouldnt have gone that way, especially with the price of rb30 specific rods available. To modify the SBC rod/bearing/crank costs far more than the purchase price of the rod.

  14. Which hose? It hooks up to the stock BOV pipe, and goes up to the plenum. Ive got the joiners if thats what you mean?
  15. DIfferent mounts cant fix the problem, as the sump is about 4mm from the crossmember
  16. 243rwkw with a stock turbo I think they may be tweaking the numbers. I would put a gauge on it and confirm its not running more than 12 psi.

  18. Does this power loss theory with an extra dump pipe also apply to GTT R34's?????????????????? Its even worse on a 34gtt, i dynod one stock, then he came back with a full turbo back 3.5in, and front mount. It gained 5rwkw up top and lost about 30rwkw everywhere else. Put a pfc on it and got it all back and heaps more.
  19. I tried it with an rb20. Basically anything with hydraulics wont work, unless you get the cams reground to suit the different ramp angles that hydraulics require. I think cubes found someone who does it cheap.
  20. I doubt it, as the turbo systems are completely separate, for the same reason the z32's dont seem to have the problem. I wonder if the shuffle is the turbo's causing each other to go into surge, and building up a pressure harmonic between the two?
  21. There is no boost cut, it would need a map sensor for boost cut. There is an excess airflow cut, which is a different boost for different turbos/modifications.
