  1. So we are all in agreeance that there is no need to fit 1000cc injectors to a stock inlet manifold. (PS im using 272 10.2mm cams with stock solid lifters without dramas)
  2. A few people on here have great results with the .63 3076(try the mafia), although most of them find that the exhaust backpressure caused by the .63 limits the power to less than the 76 front can make. IMO .63 3071 for 270-300rwkw or .86 3076 for 300-330rwkw, .86 3582 for 330+
  3. Where do you get your rb25 solid lifter conversion for free?
  4. Best off doing a search, as this has been covered quite extensively in a few threads, but for 280rwkw, i think the general consensus was that a .63 or .86 3071 offered better response without any major top end power difference, as your not maxing out the 76.
  5. The Mafia has, do a search of his posts, there is a thread on it, works very well.
  6. There is no way the timing cant be adjusted, its a mechanical adjustment
  7. Real time remapping with a laptop.
  8. Dont suppose you know if the auto ecu's are different to the manuals? And where in sydney arre you?
  9. Im going out on a limb here, but i cant see any reason why you would need 1000cc injectors if you are considering using a standard inlet manifold. What power are you hoping to make? To make the sort of power that requires 1000cc injectors, it will be cheaper to fit an rb26 head than stuffing around with a 25 one.
  10. Makes perfect sense, although the boats ive seen them on are factory, and use a heat exchanger !?!
  11. Great result, infortunately you can almost never compare manuals to auto's on the dyno, especially low-mid revs. Torque converters are also torque multipliers, and as we all know power=torque x revs
  12. Turbo, ex manifold, front mount, injectors, ecu, exhaust, 7 psi. No need to change anything else to make more power than a stock det
  13. And a bracket if i remember correctly
  14. I certainly wouldnt be running 40 psi fuel pressure in the surge tank, why not just plumb it up like everyone else does, it works fine?
  15. Sounds like tps or idle soleniod, its not going into the idle map, and the ecu is retarding the timing to try to make it idle.
  16. Fairly certain they are
  17. Couldnt agree more. In 5 years of working with dynos ive seen 3 cars blow motors over vacuum hoses blowing off. Both had dodgy BOV plumbing, two on the FPR, the other on the MAP sensor. When you are at full throttle on the dyno, it takes about 0.1 seconds for the motor to blow.
  18. I tought the water in the manifolds on boats was to work as a muffler, cools the gases so they contract?
  19. Do you have the same printout with A/F ratios?
  20. There is a link in his signature, just persevere and keep reading
  21. If your in sydney, you can come and have a look at a set if you like.
  22. Touch up, there are mobile guys who will charge about $250, they will do it at your work.
  23. Im using the ACL's in a NEO 25/30 im building. Why do you want to run a 1.6mm HG? I would run a 1.0 or 1.2 and higher comp.
