  1. You could fit rb26 crank rods and pistons, but due to the combustion chamber size of the NEO, you would end up with too high comp. What are you trying to achieve?
  2. CAS is different, and the series one wont fit the series 2 motor without modifying it.
  3. There is no way i would recommend forged rods and pistons, there are plenty of rb25's out there making more than double the power of yours, without internals. With your $2000, i would get an full turbo back exhaust, and a remap at 12 psi, should make over 200rwkw safely,dont forget to have a look at the clutch whilst the engine is out. Then when you want to spend more, get the turbo highflowed, fit a set of injectors, and a front mount(up to you) run 16 psi and make 250rwkw

  5. If you fit the r34 engine, then you need to fit the r34 diff, as it has a vastly different ratio(4.11 vs 3.5 i think)

  11. I think some of them have a fuel dampner, but i thought it was on the supply side. There was one on my neo.
  12. Just run the r33 turbo at 10 psi, when you gat a chance to take it to a dyno day, do a run at 10 psi and 12 psi, as long as the AFR's are nice, depending on the tuner, there probably isnt much to gain from a retune, as long as the tuner extended the tune beyond the original turbo.

  14. I would say your cam timing is retarded by one tooth, and thats also retarding your ignition timing by 7 deg (i think)
  15. A mate of mine has fitted a 1UZ-FE 4L toyota V8 under a stock S13 180sx bonnet, without the crossmember being spaced down, was a hell of a lot of work to make the sump work

  20. Im guessing, but i think the 2 wire plug is for auto trans. The three wire plug is for the ecu. The only way that it can be above 5v is if there is a wiring problem, or the voltage reg in the ecu has short circuted, which is very unlikely. Unplug the tps, and check the supply voltage, should be 5v

  23. Pretty sure all the evos have it, my mates evo1 did, problem is the resevior empties in a 20 min spirited drive, or 10 mins on the track
  24. What else do you need to know?
  25. Check the ECU trouble codes, could be AFM, dodgey IC piping, fuel pump, clutch(although doesnt sound like it)
