  1. Doubt it. If the hoses to the inlet are blocked, one is the crankcase breather, so needs to be venting. Didnt you just put this motor in? Its definately lifters and not an ex manifold leak, they can sound very similar. Could try a compression test, as one of the valves could be sticky. I would be careful flushing the oil too much, unless you know that the turbo is fairly new.

  10. And very dangerous to the lifespan of the turbo. Stock rb25 turbos are renown for blowing at more than 12 psi.

  13. These manifolds are awesome, if i didnt have one already, i would buy it.
  14. Exactly my point, the engine may be using 200rwkw worth of air, but because it is drowning, it makes significantly less power. That combined with the severely retarded ignition timing that it would be running explains the power loss. You really need to get some management in it.
  15. Im guessins, but there are two ways that i can see to easily do this, You could put appropriate igntion values in to give it a soft limiter- ie 0deg ign timing above a certain rpm, or turn the dwell down till it doesn't run, im pretty sure there is an rpm/dwell table.
  16. Running those mixtures, im not surprised that its maxing out, if the mixtures were good, it would probably make another 20-30rwkw. What are the dyno tuners using to tune it? Management?

  19. Just Jap reacon that they sell one although there are so many different belt that suit it, their belt may not suit your tensioner location.

  21. I believe the theory of painting it is it protects the heatwrap, which never seems to last too long, it gets sort of brittle, and tears easily after a while.
  22. They are 480cc, but that is at s15 rail pressure which is a bit higher than the rest, in an r33, they equate to 440cc(unless you bump the pressure up) There is a set in the for sale section at the moment.
