  1. I would definately agree to go with the greddy or copy. The rb25 lower half of the runners seem to restrict the rb30's, and they dont need the longer runners to make the low down torque.
  2. Does the problem fix itsalf when you restart the car, could be sensing detonation and dropping into the low octane map.
  3. Looks awesome trent, whats next in the rice factor? Chrome 20" spinners, or LED washer jets with neons. Maybe some 20" subs to match the rims lol
  4. Hoses too short wont matter, just dont try to cabin mount these or you will get boost spike. just make sure you use big enough diameter Vac hose, and make sure its the right way around or it will overboost and possibly blow the turbo. Once its in, just turn it up a small amount at a time, as these controllers a quite sensitive.
  5. Why not leave the stockers on for the first few 1000km while you get the whole setup run in and sorted, only run 7psi then when you can afford it get some bolt on upgrades and wind some boost into her.
  6. Their cnc is a cnc mill, not a 5 axis machine as Nas said they simply dont have the room or the time. Still a pretty flash but of gear.
  7. I agree GT, its a good way to handle it, although ive run heaps of dyno days, and IMO for the $50 people pay for 15 min dyno time, they deserve the O2 to be hooked up. Sure its not exact, but all dyno shops will have a way of mounting the extended probe((which is the biggest pain with some of the cannons)
  8. To get the full voltage you need to hook and earth from the pump to the chassis. Having said that i would also fit a bosch 040 pump, they are only $200, and heaps better than the walbro's for a turbo car.
  9. If you are looking at those power levels i would get a bosch fuel pump. the walbros are renown for dropping flow as soon as the pressure gets up. You could use the walbro to feed a surge tank then use an external bosch 044 pump. 740cc injectors will be fine.
  10. Select z32 AFM, and set the injection correction to .62. Not sure about the latency though. Should start and run, but will need a tune.
  11. Look on ebay. There is an alloy bodied 100mm ford uppgrade MAF that is good for 850bhp (or so they say) and they are $230US new
  12. horsepowerinabox.com.au or gcg or liverpool exhaust
  13. You can do a diagnostic check with the hicas ECU
  14. Is it running the stock BOV?
  15. Yes, there is a thread about it
  16. I doubt it is the inlert gasket, especially if it doesn't leak at idle. You may be on the money with the BOV though, or could be the cat.
  17. I was under the impression that the cryo cooling was used in conjunction with prior heat treating to prolong the cooling process?
  18. No they dont, all their head porting is done by hand
  19. Stick an rb20 turbo on it, ill bet you can find many rb20 owners willing to swap.
  20. Theres a big thread in the naturally aspirated section
  21. If they cant get it to run for a dyno day, how do they tune cars??
  22. I had my crank cryogenically treated, about $3-400. Basically you end up with the same effect as nitriding, but ti goes all the way through the material instead of just the first few thou
  23. No offense intended, but by the sounds of it i would pay someone to do it, it would be fairly cheap, and there are a few traps for new players. Just make sure new injector seals are used, and get the injectors cleaned before they go in.
  24. I cant believe you dont recommend the discopotato by its generic name lol
  25. Yeah, just bolt the rb26 head to the rb25 block using rb25 head bolts or arp studs
