  1. In the boot is fine, gt35r 1.06 ex housing 1.4bar should see around 370-380rwkw running good fuel. But it will be pretty laggy IMO a .86 ex would be better, loose 20rwkw up high, but increase average horsepower everywhere else.
  2. Should be, but i would check the trouble codes to be sure. Engines only need three things to run, fuel, spark and compression. You need to figure out which one it is.
  3. You could try putting a scope on the cas, it may need pull up resisters on the signal wire to clean up the signal. So the ignition maps are all set flat?Have you set the maps to zero and downloaded it to the ecu? Sounds like it could still have the base map in it and is advancing like it should
  4. None of the above will stop the car starting. Check for trouble codes in the ecu. Have you puled the cas out and turned it by hand to see if the injetors are clicking yet? A troubled CAS will pull a trouble code in the ecu.
  5. On further thought, i bet its the fuel lines the wrong way around, it s the only reason the fuel pressure would go up, not because the injectors aren't firing. It does have a stock regulator doesnt it?
  6. I dont know if i would recommend this, as the fuel pressure could easily blow the injectors out, potentially spilling litres of fuel under pressure. If you leave the injectors in, and unplug the igniter, pull the cas out and spin it you should hear the injectors firing, or test them with a noid light. Are you sure all the earths are hooked back up, there are two from the loom to the inlet manifold. Also check for power between one of the injector wires on each plug and the manifold. One wire on each injector should have battery voltage, the other is a swithed earth. PS are they the same injetors that came out of the motor before the maniflod change. Could there be a possibility that the fuel lines have been swapped around on the fuel rail(seen this a few times)
  7. Im 90% sure v8 supercars dont run 370mm disks with 17in wheels, pretty sure they are 18in, my 355mm disks just fit in 18's, but as you say nissan probably could have run 19's
  8. If it hasnt started, how do you know if the cas timing is correct?
  9. Try spraying some aerostart in the manifold and see if that makes it start, if so the injectors aren't firing. Also pull out a spark plug and see if its wet
  10. stock r33 gtr cooler is fine for up to about 350rwkw, so should fit the bill for you quite comfortably
  11. Wont fit, different bolt pattern on the head
  12. The o-ring is only to stop the CAS flopping around
  13. r33 side feed or r34 top feed injectors and rails bolt on.
  14. Cant be a CV as it doesnt have them at the front. try deglazing the pads and rotors, and using some anti-squeal on the back of the pads. Make sure all the shims and clips are there.
  15. Pump the rears up to 50 psi when you get there, any good dyno tuner should.
  16. Or get a jaycar DFA, they are about $80 and have 128 load points, although you need the hand controller which is another $70
  17. Its not available for r33 rb25det
  18. Sure could be, sounds like youve found the culprit.
  19. YOu can use any throttle body(single or multiple) any AFM, use the appropriate water temp sensor for the PFC, and use any early CAS(rb20.25 mitsubishi type,or 26) Use the appropriate O2 sensor for the PFC. You can use a single AFM on a RB26 PFC, but multiple AFM's on a rb25 PFC is a bit tricky. IMO the rb26 PFC is the way to go, as its far cheaper than the rest., although you may need to fit an injector resister pack if you have low impedence injectors.
  20. Why not look around for a dinged up late model honda, should be able to make money, and enjoy the driving experience?PS a VTi-R is about as quick as a GTS-t, so you can have your cake and eat it too.
  21. you need to setup the ignition timing with a timing light.
  22. So whats the question, screamer pipes and hollowed out cats are illegal for many good reasons, and completely unnecessary for the power you are chasing.
  23. Only nissan AFAIK have the different size standard bearings. If you look on the bottom of the block there are some numbers stamped where the sump attaches, there will be a series of 6 numberes and a series of 7 numbers. These relate to the big ends and mains. However if you get a set of aftermarket standard bearings, its a case of one size fits all, and just have to check the clearances
  24. People like you drag down the image of a gtr
  25. Yes there is a dot on the timing gear behind the balancer, so you can setup the timing belt. The ones on the balancer are to set the ignition timing
