  1. 99% sure the stroke is longer than stock
  2. I would say well over 50% imports have had their odo's wound back, especially R32 gtr's and S13's
  3. Performance Metalcraft sell a modded big RB26 sump for $1400, im sure for an extra $100 or so and they would make it RWD. Or i could do it for heaps less if you like.
  4. Why do you think the chip would blow your motor, thousands of people run gtr's (and lots of other cars)with plug in chips.
  5. Agreed^^^ On the dyno, wind forces dont reflect driving
  6. Most of the track days ive scrutineered, a secondary bonnet restraint is necessary. Lots of people hook an old belt from the bonnet frame and clip it down through the bumper or so. Another way is with a small chain and a shackle/caribbina and hook it onto the radiator support.
  7. Yes, but a pair of gt-rs's are bigger than a to4z
  8. Why not install a temp probe and monitor it, no point installing a FMIC if there isnt enough gain
  9. Using what regulator and injectors?
  10. In my opinion, for that style of inlet manifold, that a pretty trick bit of gear, certainly better than a factory rb26 one. The only way to determine if there is uneven distribution would be to moniter individual exhaust temps/AFR's. The only way i think would be necessary to modify this would be to have a tapered plenum . Nice bit of fabrication though
  11. No need to change your manifold, waste of time and money, being in japan, the wrecking yards would be full of remapped stock ecu's, which i would imagine would be worthless over there, if you can see the mods to a car before you pull the computer out, then you can get one that siuts your mods. I would get an rb25 turbo if you need to replace yours. I wouldn't bother with an emanage, as you really arent going to make a lot of power with your list of mods, and the mapping in the r32 gts-t ecu isnt that bad.
  12. Thats because SSQV's are rubbish, tiny little ports, so they dont vent all the air
  13. It would make it run lean under load
  14. No. the head will need to be clearanced, some people will do it with the head on, but i dont.
  15. They are all the same
  16. Pro engines, about $160, dont forget to factor in the machining of the crank
  17. Your car needed to be thrashed? There is no learning in the stock ECU, the only thing is the low octane map if they detonate heavily, and that only resets when you turn the car off
  18. bigger injectors certainly, ive seen over 1000hp at the crank with 5/16 fuel lines. T04Z's, are you planning on a garrett, or HKS, and once again, 500-550what, hp at the crank, KW at the wheels etc...?
  19. Well short motor is 120kg, so a complete would be around 180kg. If you can get it on a pallet, somewhere with a forklift, most couriers will do it, or they will charge a bit extra for a taillifter
  20. Why dont you do a diagnostic search, thats what its there for.
  21. What TO4z are you going to run, what power do you want to make? 500-550 what?
  22. But as we are saying, the block isnt modified to fit the sump adapter, mine only has one hole enlarged from m6 to m10, and some releifs so teh countersunk capscrews can be done up.
  23. Dont forget the crank collar
  24. Try getting a mate with a z32 lol
