  1. Plug in or wire in? Does it have knock control option?
  2. does the rb20 block have both bolt patterns? Rb26's do.
  3. Hook the stocker back up, if you want a bit more flutter, you can squash the top of the BOV down in a vice if you really feel the need.
  4. And how exactly do you tune a car with an AFM to run an atmo BOV?
  5. More than likely ringlands as well.
  6. Hi, im building a rb25/30 for a friends car, and have two options for the camshafts, either retain the NEO cams, VCT and fit an exhaust wheel(which i already have), or fit a pair of rb26 cams with adjustable camwheels. Car will probably be running a .86 GT35r, and hopefully making about 330rwkw with 18psi. Comp will be 8.8-9:1. Does anyone have any solid advice?

  8. Do you have a screamer or a plumback
  9. Wasted spark is also fine, thats what ill be running on my 26/30
  10. Built one with a .63 gt35r, 16 psi saw 309RWKW, and 19 psi saw 326 on a stock rb26 with djetro and injectors.
  11. The difference between 550's and 740's is that to make the most of the 740's you need a built motor. If you dont intend on doing this in the near future, just get the 550's, better tunability, idle quality, cold start. If later you need to upgrade dur to wanting more power, you can sell the 550's for stuff all less than you paid for them.
  12. You would need to take about 2mm off the head to get the comp up from 7:1, Why not use an rb30e bottom end, you start with a much better comp ratio.
  13. The stock gauge isnt very accurate, however the exhaust will have raised the boost to about 10 psi, i would chuck a gauge to check it, but i doubt there is a problem.]
  14. Stock is fine up to a certain point, after that get a stock gtr one
  15. If you adjust them as tight as they can go, then they probably aren't opening at all, so whats the point of having one?
  16. how much does it cost to have it installed and tuned round bout About $500
  17. Sorry, these are the modified chev rods that Castlemaine Rod Shop do. The big end bearings end up being 6-7 thou undersize on the rb30 crank
  18. the turbo ones give about 7.6:1 the NA's are better
  19. The water definately gets sucked through from the bottom radiator hose.
  20. Depending on the fuel you plan to run(to make 800hp), i would say to make the sort of power you are after, you are looking at running at least 1.6 bar. I would recommend no more than 9.2:1, however it seems that you have completely the wrong pistons if a 1.3mm headgasket give you such high come, can the pistons be decked safely?
  21. BKC, why dont you ask nissan in the future, www.nissan.com.jp thanks for your time, goodbye
  22. and 944, 924
  23. For it to fit properly, you need the backing plate, however it will fit the rb25 one, its just a bit dodge
  24. If ti has the power transistor at the back, then its a series 1 motor, and it is the likely culprit
