no i was wondering if they were actually good or if someone got one and told everyone they were good. they just seem like the ricer's ecu. i mean if a 14 year old with no car knowledge sees 'power fc' they think "yeah cool, i've heard of that one in hot4s so it must be good". i dont mean to say they are gay cos everyone has one, i was just wondering the reason as to why. they may well be by far and away the best value for money ecu on the market. my opinion on the power fc means zilch cos i have never used one or been in a car with one. so i was consulting the experience of others. i have a rb20 so an ap-engineering unit is required, which unfortunatly is approx $1500.

i'm only planning on about 220rwkw so the standard rb20 afm should be alright, otherwise i'll just get a z32. so the power fc goes alright hey? good value for money even if ap engineering = $$. i'm in brisbane. is there any good tuners anyone knows of up here? whats that goin to cost? what about a wolf3d? anyone had any experience with these?

plug-ins hey... like power fc? been reading some good things bout them. they seem to be like arseholes in that everyone's got one. does this mean they are good or are we all sheep. anyone know a cheap place to get ap engineering pfc. not real keen on payin 1500 for a plug-in, even with commander. anyone want to unload one?? funny thing is they seem pretty common for a motor that wasnt common enough for apexi to make a ecu for it.

this guy u were talkin 2 wudnt happen 2 b from th gold coast would he. i was talkin a fella there one night with a black r33 with 500hp who gave me th same bllsht spiel. 18psi for two yrs then put it on a rb20 cos it was stil perfect. he's a wanker mate. he told me running leaner would reduce my exhaust temps. the thing he thort was th coolest bout his car was that it stil had th standard head gasket. wanker

got one a while back for $450 2nd hand. only thing to watch out for is that little filter. you dont need it n it jus gets blocked up. more for wank factor than anything else

yer the z145a will fit fine. its just an australian equivalent brought out by ryco. and yes insurance is the killer with imports. mine was $2.5k then $1.2 excess so i told em where to stick that!

i'm putting gtr injectors into my rb20. i am aware that i need a resistor pack and was wondering if i could use one from a gtr. it seems logical but i thort i'd ask.

i have a blown rb20 turbo (shaft play). located in brisbane

the swap is easy as. a mate and i did it in about 5 hrs. i put a rb25 neo turbo on a rb20 and it literally "bolted straight in". i used the r32 lines. bolts went straight in. a couple of the lines needed to be bent slightly (carefully). But yer definitely nothing major.

does it work that way? as far as i know the gtr has a resistor pack also. (something to do with computer liking high impedence injectors liking low) if the above is the case that would be great as would save $200 in buying resistor pack.
