  1. 6boost any day of the week not sure if it was a 1 off, but the last ETM manifold i saw had a pretty rough finish on the ports. kyles all come perfectly ported and ultra smooth
  2. 'big' hp = cant fit big enough oil cooler into radiator, need to use 21row or use 2 oil coolers 1 in the radiator and 1 external thick fmic + street driving/low air speed = not ideal to use anything thicker than the 42mm (low air speeds when in traffic/start stop stuff the air cant pass through the fmic and cool the radiator quick enough) twin pass can only be made in ~55mm radiator, bollocks if u have space constraints (i.e crank driven oil pump is in the road) info straight from PWR
  3. f**k me that sounds ace!!
  4. a garrett GT35R 0.82 exhaust housing is the perfect choice for that hp target. you 'could' mount it on a low mount manifold, however you are better off using a properly made hi-mount manifold like a 6boost to gain the optimium performance. Also hi-mounts are 10x easier to work on
  5. i could have a kit within a week. Let me know if your interested.
  6. do you plumb the pump into the back welsh plug where you typically plumb the head drain into? what kind of vacuum figure would you aim for in the crankcase?
  7. are you guys snapping std mounts or nismo's aswell?
  8. look at you 2, have 1 dinner together and ur lovers for life
  9. Seems like that statement applies to you aswell. If you read the ebay contract agreement, by sending out those 2nd chance offers you are accepting the low amount, if you wanted to send messages to the people who bid on ur car, u should have sent personal messages saying you are open to offers higher than x amount. Youve shot yourself in the foot and ahve done the wrong thing on ebay.
  10. dependant on the ecu u have, you might be able to setup a fuel pump speed controller fairly simply. the aeromotive one only has a few settings, and doesnt ramp up with load or rpm. (its also fooken expensive) if u want to simplify the lines under the car, i'd run a single -10 line from the pump upto the front and split it into 2x -8 lines feeding each end of the rail. -8 from the centre of the rail to the reg and then -8 from the reg back into the surge tank. also with that big aeromtoive pump, if you read the warranty card/installation instructions, they stipulate u MUST run a pre-pump filter or you void your warranty. i use the aeromotive filters pre pump and also 1 before the fuel rail. also re lift pump, any of the carby pumps are good, low pressure and hi volume. if u dont mind the cost and want to keep same branded pumps, go the aeromotive one.
  11. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *takes a breath* HAHAHAHAHAHA thats almost as funny as finiding out drain is switching to a dirty 30 aswell btw paul, why would you go from an external pump setup back to a crank driven pump setup? im having a hard time finding sense in that P.S thats senility for ya
  12. thats right they are like the tomei pumps, they run a 'spline' drive gear setup i wouldnt trust one on a big dollar motor though
  13. sump needs to come off to fix the oil pressure issue. pita but its gotta be done
  14. typical 26 upto 4500rpm with n o t h i n g but after that it would go pretty nicely
  15. Lee have a read of this thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...la-t259282.html You'll find the major problem is getting the pipe to come out of the block at a low enough angle so it doesnt hit the axle but still being able to get a nut/bolt on it
  16. I'd seriously put an external pickup in, theres too much stuffing around with an internal pickup.
  17. sounds like its still missing in the deep end though...
  18. i was taking the piss from ashlette sorry roy proof of f**ken what? you urself said they run leaner at the back and to get around that u tune them out. put a proper plenum on it and itd flow near even and make more power, everywhere u really should read ur posts, then ud see how flamen stupid you sound most/sometimes whats 'all in'? 250kw and 130ft/lb? sounds right for a hipo rb20
  19. oh but roy what about putting sedately around on the streets?
  20. i bet both were 2.6's though, silly kents shoulda went 3.0, problem solvered bit ot but i hate how 26's are down low, throttle responce mite be 'snappy' but theyve got n o t h i n g until about 4
  21. not street driven but throttle response and low end power delivery is almost everything. same as why most cars run low mount twins instead of big singles. so ud rather have a poorly designed manifold and tune out the flaw? I'd rather have a proper manifold that flows evenly as possibly. how was the heads setup on the different cars? did the different cars have the same tune? or did some ahve shitty fueld up tunes and some nice and crisp? only the crap plenums that only look pretty have the shitty in-balance of flow, the proper ones are near perfect 1-6. no1, i was having a dig
  22. Armchair experts much?
