    i glazed up 2 excedy brass button clutches, both in my old 33 gtst. had one in my gtr before the motor blew, so they all were a bitch to drive. i.e ur not suppose to ride them as they'll glaze over, i only learned on the 3rd time and once they start to slip, theyre gooone within a very short period jim's clutch packs arent a true brass button material, theyre carbotic, a mixture of differnt types

    maybe just get a rebuild kit? or ur other options are a jim berry full monty, npc clutch. CRD are down there somewhere, so maybe give them a bell?

    is there any real reason in having a 'nice' sump in a dry sump setup with a tank carrying most the oil, and jsut having the sump with scavange/s so it dont lap on the crank?

    if ur going the dry sump route, better to do it properly and run a tank in the boot/engine bay
