Gatton Street Sprints 17/3/2007 The Gatton street sprints are on this weekend, Basically there is a short street course laid out in an industrial area in Gatton and cars go against the clock in a race for the best lap time. This is a cool technical little course and the variety of cars is awesome! Every thing from Ex V8 super cars, Formula Fords, Formula Holdens and other race machinery to street cars like GTRs , Evos and STI ect. Last year the street car record was set by a GTR and it was great to watch! Later in the evening there is other stuff like burnout contests and the like. I propose meeting at the Goodna BP at 10:30 leaving at 11:00 for an arrival in Gatton at about 12:00, not sure how long we will stay but I guess that is up to the group! Entry is $10 and dont forget to bring a chair! Hope to see you all there! Also from Gatton it is pretty easy to get back for the drag night if you are going to that as well! i heard they were seriously thinking about it, and also upgrading the computeres again how many switches are in birssy u know? apparantly the difference in price is 5k a switch (14 port or something)

maybe they should look at upgrading the switches, caus its jsut getting beyond rediculous. 100mb switch in brisbane here, srwp or horizon gets a 1gb switch!!!! yet they are going to spend rediculous money on upgrading to vista? stupid farks

what u can do, is re drill and tap to suit rb26 bolts, plus the 26 bolts are larger

2 things jump out right away for me: Custom Front/ Dump/ Screamer Pipe Catco Straight through Cat if u get caught with the screamer, u'll be ordered to plumb it back in, and with that 'hi flow' cat ur gonna get ass reamed if u get caught. just dont drive it at full noise on the street in populated spots and u should be fine. also ride height, no part of the car can be lower than 100mm off the ground another thing, u dont need to worry about emissions, caus they dont test it in qld, but they do test noise levels every so often oh and for rego in qld, u'll have to get a road worthy, AND u'll have to pay stamp duty, again

the weight thing wouldnt be possible i dont think, as the day's run and setout by the track staff. plus its not all about how much u weigh, u still gotta drive the thing round the track
