struggle, swear and hit it until it comes loose and when it does come off, replace it with a filter relocation kit! ahve u come across a filter so tight that ur tool only crushes the casing? this is how my one was in the 26, so had to resort to the screw driver

caus the bottom end is getting more work, and they wont flow enough for 750bph i'm also open to offers

ahh see that wasnt so hard now was it lol (stoopid farkin kiwi's ) i only did it once, and just like i told u, screwdriver through the filter (as it was tight as a mofo) and got it loose and did it with my hand. i dont see the issue with putting a screwdriver through the old filter, aslong as u dont hit the thread ur fine.

yeah the screwdriver trick is nearly impossible on the 26, however i managed to get it i ended up breaking 2 oil filter removal tools, hence why the screwdriver came out

little trick with oil filters i've found, grab a big long screwdriver, smack it through the filter and turn, hey presto it comes undone

i bought the engine as a complete assembled engine that came out of a front cut from japan. so there shouldnt be any gunk or what not in the galleries, and the engine did have oil in it before i bought it. this is odd

that's weird as...i put ~5ltrs of motul turbolite in it and its goone! doubt its rings caus ud see/smell it.
