  1. hmm bastid im guessin its supertech valves and ferrea springs? as ferrea dont list an inconel valve...
  2. what brand valvetrain gear are you using paul?
  3. by that thinking she's also juicy
  4. thought id just put up the pics i took of the head today. I could look at this thing all day long
  5. A full house head with dual springs, ti retainers, os valves both sides, bronze guides, big cams, cam cap studs, race spec'd port job will cost u around 6k JHH Engineering in qld i cant go past. 30+ years experience and their workmanship says it all...
  6. yeh im sure it'll do what its suppose to, cant wait to get it on the rollers to see what it does. its a 6k head with all the valvetrain gear. we were lucky as we ordered all the parts before the ass fell out of the dollar that ones got supertech dual springs & TI retainers supertech guides supertech 1mm inlet and 1mm exhaust valves tomei 270 10.8 inlet and 280 10.8 exhaust cams tomei cam cap studs will @ jhh had to machine up some custom inner spring seats as supertech dont make them for the rb26. apparantly with the ferrea kit you can get a ferrea seat to suit, just a headsup if ur using supertech springs
  7. Something else to note when using CP piston rings, the oil ring carries lower tension than that of an ACL oil ring. Also Cp's rings have a coating (forget what it is) and can flake off/degrade, ACl's rings have the treatment embedded into the ring
  8. this head i picked up yesterday thats going in a street gtr. JHH Engineering in qld did all the work. I took them a std head, gave them the plan of the car and said go nuts. You can see the chambers rounded off as russ was saying (crappy pics but i'm taking more tomorrow )
  9. JHH Engineering in qld does the solid lifter conversion for roughly $450, then add $1250 for cams & gears. I just picked up a big head from them for a friends car im building (26/30 in a 33gtr), labour on the head was $3130 ($6k head in total)
  10. Im just waiting on the adapters, everything else is ready to go. Ill call them today to see when they will be ready
  11. fooken jeebus, i hate it when shit like that happens
  12. i donated, that's good enough
  13. so whats the details?
  14. point me in the direction of some and i'll try them in both a 32 and 33 gtr
  15. is it the box pointed out in the below pic?
  16. Update: I picked up the templates from the laser cutter this afternoon. I've gotta place an order for some boxes of bolts, and the plates should be done by the end of next week.
  17. i take it its using an 'rb26' base then to use the hks hi deck? them things are rare as hens teeth too
  18. pics?
  19. Group buy ends this friday I'll be placing an order for 5 plates on friday and 2 have already been sold pick ups have bene delayed and they wont be ready until mid next week
  20. oh yeh, whoops what fuel? how much nitrous? what duty were the injectors at?
  21. 1002hp at only 6500rpm?
  22. yet u have time to whore online? all that and it'll still be slow (and a 33)
  23. go in and see mick @ signature, he's in turley st. very switched on bloke and is one of the best tuners in SEQ
  24. i personally wouldnt re-tap the thread for the bigger studs. i'd use rb25 studs. the more thickness u can leave in the block the better as martin said. ~0.75mm isn't ideal to cut a new thread in, however that said ppl have re-cut them without any dramas.
  25. sit on the other side then!
