dont worry mike i looked into doing a 2j in the gtr, but if i was to keep the awd (which i wanted to) there woulad been too much custom work on the sump. give u an idea, the 2j has a stepped sump, the front section being 130mm wider than the bottom of the gtr block.
hmm ok, well lee's got an RB20 in his, and i was doing the clutch in it on saturday, but there wasnt enough clearance up there to get a socket on straight enough to undo the bolt, it just kept slipping off.

liz, what motor is in ur silvia? and how much clearance do u have between the gearbox and tunnel for getting at the top gearbox bolt?
contemplating putting on the top baffles, but they gotta be drilled and tapped into the girdle, which i dont reall wanna do. and i gotta enlargen the bolt holes in the sump, caus some dont line up with the adapter plate. i've also got a custom oil pickup in thee aswell.
