  11. my only let down with the std plenum is the leanout on the rear couple cylinders, i'd much prefer a plenum that flows near on 100% even to all 6 cylinders
  12. yeh because the pressure relief is located inside the sump area take er out duncan, that way u can buy some new goodies while ur at it
  13. other alternative is an external belt drive pump, like a dry sump without the scavenges. 2rismo on here has one going in his new build
  14. peasnuts wasnt the best of words that i coulda used huh but i spose u get where im coming from?
  15. talking about dry sumps and oil pumps, my machine shop have designed their own dry sump pumps that they use on their 7sec drag bikes, and i'm currently working with them to design a package to be used with the rb's. we are also looking at a billet oil pump with an external pressure relief
  16. yeh if they are building a 900hp drag motor, which realisticly would cost 25k+ a 5-7k dry sump setup would be peanuts
  17. +1 only real setup your gonna have a win with im afraid also make sure your pump is capable of pumping your oil from the rear of the car (if your tank is mounted there) or make room in the engine bay for it
  18. now to just merge the other 10,000 threads and itll be sorted in on 1
  19. its obvious you now have a better ground and as a benefit your getting the full voltage from the battery - all plus'

  21. use the lube and torque to arp's spec - they wouldnt specify a torque unless it was necessary
  22. adriano youve hit it on the head the r&d for mine has cost me in the vacinity of $4000 (i was getting them laser cut and tapping/countersinking them by hand, but now have changed to a full cnc process)
