  2. oh and the only things that broke, were 3 exhaust manifold studs and 1 turbo-dump studs
  3. its a bitch to do, but at the same time i enjoy it the only 'mess' i made was when i took the turbo coolant lines off & the coolant dripped a bit, other than that no leaks or mess anywhere (other than on my hands and clothes)
  4. Hi all, I'm just after some opinions of what turbo's (read low mounts that bolt to stock manifolds) would be best for me. My motor is freshly built with all the good stuff, and just in the process of getting the head ported and installing some cams (still undecided, need suggestions as to what would work best) I want 700awhp @ 2bar max and i was thinking either the HKS GT-RS or Trust T618Z, redline is set at 7500. What are peoples experiences with these turbo's, and what are their characterisitics i.e when do they come onto boost, how much can they flow @ what boost etc. Also the car's being set-up for track & hill climbs, so i require half decent response. It'd be ideal if someone could suggest what turbo and cam combo will be best for my motor and power goal. cheers Shane

  21. so u've still got the stock ecu? prolly best to get a power fc (or other) and get it tuned properly. i.e lean it out a bit, then you'll also be able to pull some timing out. it'll go harder, and it wont chew as much fuel

  24. i would, but i dont want the hassle from the coppers. if i can get the power i want from low mounts (which i can), than i dont want to go a big single. plus i've got $700 worth of speedlfow fittings for the twins
  25. awesomeness i've stopped workin on my car, got andy's car to fix . but i've been thinkin, and i mite get the head ported, and install some cams, springs & gears. oh and i've decided the N1's arent going to be big enough, GT-RS's it is!
