depends how indepth u want to go with ur rebuild. u could end up spending a trash load on the bottom end. also what power ur after and what u intend to use the car for. oh and dont go thinking it can be done in a month or so, caus that wont happen oh and ull also need to get a custom front pipe made up top suit the extra deck height, $600

so wat was that boost problem? and if u dont mind telling, what did it cost? P.S im sure theres ppl on here that coulda done everything for u minus the tuning for alot less

haha k then, depends on how much it costs really. i can get a custom mix for $350 for 4 litres, and ive got a mate who can spray the car for me, and i've quoted up a spray booth...

got a sample pic or something? what shade of purple is it? i've done the engine bay in purple pearl, however its too dark in the shade so i want the exterior lighter

ive got the Alpine IVA-D310E and i've had no problems with it in my 1.5 yrs of having it

grab a jack & block of wood and put the wood underneath the crank pulley and jack it up a bit to tilt the engine back. also undo the top bolt on the starter motor first, caus ull need to use ur fingers to unscrew it bell housing bolts, with the motor tilted back, grab all the long extensions u can find and put a uni-joint on b4 the socket and u should be able to undo them that way.

could be a boost leak, like the boost is escaping somewhere so the wastegate isnt keeping closed
