  1. its fine dave, i've come to grips with the fact that all old people do the same stuff that you do
  2. or u can cheat by buying a pre-built one and do the swap in a day, hey andy why would u do something like that? good mate, been out most the morning at millennium msports, got no work how bout u?
  3. BTW, what happened to getting a gtr john?
  4. i meant forged engine (and other necessary mods for longevity)
  5. sweet. got the engine built?
  6. i agree with andy. u'll only see the difference with a new plenum if your running failry big power 350kw+ otherwise its a waste of money, yeh it may look good, but thats all it is until ur running some decent power. obviously 3 times
  7. yeh that's frank's. its a genuine LM gtr, rare as hens teeth. too bad he's a lazy sod and doesnt clean it properly, we were left to make it look half decent at autosalon
  8. u didnt put ur car on the dyno though did u ben? anita's car would absolutely smash urs, and its 'only' a gts-t
  9. i had a C's short shifter in my 33 and it changed how it changed gears. they were 'closer' and felt tighter. at $350 from a member off here too
  10. ahhhh ok then, nope cant help u there
  11. i've still got my 26 bottom end (minus pistons & rods) which made way for an RB30
  12. lol i reckon hey col!
  13. car wasnt ready, only sent the CAD file to the laser cutter for the adapter plate last thursday. injectors arrive tomorrow so i'll be all set to put the engine in when i get the plate back! oh and gotta get the sump fiddled with, heading down to millennium motorsport tomorrow
  14. not bad numbers indeed i didnt realise ur car was a gts-t until i had a close look at the engine bay are we going to see you guys on the SCC (skyline charity cruise, formerly MSC) on 3rd december?
  15. is it really worth skimping on a few hundred $$'s than to blow the engine?
  16. thanks anita ur display looked pretty sweet aswell must say, if it werent for you guys agreeing to to go half and half on the spaces, it wouldnt have looked as good, big thanks for that i had to leave early on sat so i missed the dyno action. what cars from ur display ran and what did they make?
  17. hrmm yeah good point...i took a pic of one of the millennium skylines they've just built, and they ran 2 feeds from the front of the head into the front of the sump (to alleviate crank case pressure) Edit - tell a lie, i took a photo of the car, but not of the lines...
  18. jebus! @ $520 is it really worth it?
  19. yeah i was talking to millennium msport today & at autosalon about my set-up, and for the cost involved, it'd be worthwhile spending the little extra and go external pump. mark jackobson runs the moroso u talk about daniel, so it should more than do the job also, apparantly the peterson pump is slightly better than the moroso (it has a stage 1 in it, scavenging?) but millennium said they've never heard any problems with the moroso
  20. r33, seeing as u prolly dont have air-con, why not run an extenal pump? can be done for near the same money as a JUN pump, and u won't have the dramas of an 'internal' pump. also if i remember correctly, u have an ATI balancer, so u can just buy an 'adapter' that bolts onto the dampner and the belt for the pump fits up nice and easily
  21. cheers bryn, the pictures dont do the paint on the cars justice!
  22. hey fookers wathcas been upto?
