A mate with a 240awkw gtr got a heavy duty clutch (told it was good for 300awkw) off NPC and his first outing at the drags saw pretty aweful clutch slip. I got jim's full monty, and upon asking him what it'll hold in my 26/30, he said it should see 1000+hp

if the standard flywheels are in good condition then there isnt any reason for them to explode. If you go using a flywheel that is warped, cracked etc then youd expect for it to go bang sometime. But to say you wouldnt use a standard flywheel with any heavy pressure plate/clutch is pretty silly.

ASC = Annual Skyline Cruise ? sounds like a good name to replace MSC = Massive Skyline Cruise

You might find that the pressure plate with that more expensive kit is only rated to 1050kg (2315lb) and it might give a light pedal feel still, as it's not very heavy. How ever, with a low rated pressure plate & aggressive clutch face (button), you wont get the same clamp force as with a heavier pressure plate with a tamer clutch face (organic mix). My clutch has a 1633kg (3600lb) pressure plate with a carbotics (carbon, steel & others mix). Give jim a ring and have a yarn with him.

who knows. depends when it is. seeing as ur going rebuild, get urself a decent clutch: Jim Berry 3847 9999 I got his 'Full Monty' which is his top of the line clutch and its rated at 1000+HP, but u wont need anything near that.

be prepared to listen to his whinging about that button clutch but that's a pretty awesome price lee! my clutch alone was more than that!
